Why Kenyan Matatus Are The Best (Nyama Choma)
Great content and I subscribed because I give $5-$10 tips around the world to house cleaning, motor, wait staff and I often pay for meals for seniors in restaurants. You're right, it's change or a few dollars for me but it can make paying bills a lot easier for them.
Great video very informative. I'm considering traveling to rwanda. Love from Philippines ❤❤
Loved this! ❤ I'm doing an internship in Kigali in the next months, any tips on how to find a room/apartment to rent with a colleague? 🥲
I don't agree with you. We should be treated the same. I can pay more for good service. But refuse being ripped off
Great job my boss madam Lisa.
Wonderful tips❤ Thank you🎉
I will take your word for everything you said. At 75 yr young I don’t I will be doing this!!! 😂
Rwanda was cool it was very clean and well organized. Traveling is tough and the language you really need to try to understand some of it. Only thing I wish it wasn’t so boring. Beautiful place but nothing to do really. We stayed in Kigali and Kibabagaga for a month. The genocide museum is a must see but it was a bit scary after knowing all that happened just 30years ago. Loved everything else though.
Very helpful vid. I’m heading to Rwanda in Feb with my wife and children for a week God willing. I’m very excited!
So nice
Girl I thought you were talking about a different kind of plug 😂 Great video! Can't wait to see Kigali in person.
I just came back from Rwanda, and these are great points!
Man I miss those matatus and nyama choma! I need to go back home 😢 🇰🇪. You need to try some ugali also
Thank you for all the info and I’m planning to visit.
Thanks for keeping it Real! I’m planning to go to Rwanda next year and I really appreciated your transparency and straight forwardness
Trust me you will LOVE it
❤❤❤❤
I love that you really took time to research and are not biased. Much love from 🇷🇼
I went for 2 weeks and ended up staying 2 months LOL
Thank you! I appreciate you being frank and getting straight to the point. 👍🏾 Great tips!
What about health care? What about the night life?
I am not an expat so I don't know much about healthcare, but I did visit a dermatologist and it cost me $25 for a consult and medication for a rash I had. There is nightlife from what I saw, but it tends to be a younger crowd. Now Ugandaaaaaaaaa, they had some crazy nightlife.
Which is the best city in Rewanda should I visit if I want to stay only for one week?
Wow ...of course kigali, but you need to visit other city's that are close to Kigali. Plan to take like maybe 2 day trips out of Kigali, do a city tour that includes the genocide musueum. Let me know if you need the hook up on a driver
@adventurousmidlifer Thank you, I will contact you soon before my trip.
Preach sista!❤
That guy telling the other to speak english was hilarious 😂
Quiet, cean, non-smoking! I'm there! Is malaria medication necessary?
No, it's not required
thank you
Awesome video sis!❤ Thank you!🇷🇼
New Sub from 🇷🇼!
Your Bigogwe Pronunciation in 🇷🇼👌🏾❤.
I had to record ten times because I kept messing it up LOL
❤ You are very gracious in providing so much useful information sister ❤ God bless ❤
Thank you
This was lovely. Its so beautiful and green.
This was wonderful. Now I'm curious about Rwanda.
Merci #Mushikiwacu😎
Yes Sis ! Let’s all be a blessing for someone . You are a blessing for Rwanda ❤️👏🏾🇷🇼.
I should go live in Rwanda. No drugs, no smoking, clean environment, community coming together to make effort in cleaning.....YES TAKE ME TO RWANDA SOMEONE!
It's definitely a beautiful Country
Beautiful sister inside and out ❤️❤️
Awee Thank you..I am working on being an even better human being
No plastic? What about the requirements to put your liquids in a plastic Ziplock?
I had like those large ziploc bags in my backpack and had no problem, I think they work to stop the influx of disposable plastic bags like we get in the supermarket in the U.S
Accurate.❤❤❤ thank you
EVERYTHING FROM 0 TO LAST MINUTE TRUE
This is my first video on your channel. I am super impressed with how you presented your findings. I am curious to know, what you did before you started midlife adventure/traveling?
Lol, still doing it. I work a 9-5 regular job but I am able to do in remotely. I am in the Social Work field. Location freedom has been the biggest blessing for me in the past 2 years
Thank you for replying. I am super happy for you. Wishing you many more blessed adventures. If you are still in Rwanda and are open to meeting, I would like to meet you for coffee.
You may be new to TH-cam! But you have a wonderful soul personality. I like how you try to drink a fresh Milk. 🥛 if I can tell you the secret. And I realize in your previous video you mentioned that people in Rwanda don’t talk to loud but very gentle I give you a hint! When this man telling you he loves drinking MILK! That he can drink it whenever. This is true for the rest of a lot of African people. And so many people take pride in this Culture. I am glad to see you here and not afraid to feel WELCOME BECAUSE YOU BELONG HERE!
Awwwwe thank you
So good
I BELIEVE WHAT THIS SOULFUL WOMAN IS SAYING IN THIS VIDEO WELL IT A LOT INSPIRES INFORMATION BUT TO ME I GOT ONE AND ONLY ONE THING! SHE IS HERE WITH ONE MESSAGE: THIS IS AFRICA AND WITH THAT SHE IS HAPPY TO BE CONNECTED AGAIN TO HER ALL LIFE DREAMS COME TRUE TO BE ABLE TO SPEAK FOR HER MOTHER LAND AND BE A TRUE AMBASSADOR OF HER OWN LAND SHE MISSED FOR LONG LIFE TIME! WELCOME BACK I AM THANKFUL A LOT OF CARRIBIANS AND AFRICA AMERICAN CAN NOW BE ABLE TO RECONNECT HERSELF TO HER OWN RACE AND PEOPLE! WHAT HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED IT TAKES A LOT TO REBUILD AND MAKE IT AGAIN ONE PIECE! WITH THAT PLEASE BROTHER AND SISTER NEVER LET THE BARRIERS OF LANGUAGE BE A MOUNTAIN THAT WILL MAKE ANYONE THINKING YOU DONT BELONG TO YOUR MOTHER LAND! FROM CAP TOWN SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦 To ALGERIA 🇩🇿 FROM SENEGAL 🇸🇳 TO SOMALIA🇸🇴 AND EVERYWHERE BETWEEN! WE ALL ONE PEOPLE! AND AFRICA WILL FOUND HER VOICE ONCE MORE!
Wait, let me fix that by putting some extra respect on that statement "This Is Mutha Africa"!!! 🥰
Also: please Americans stop being such cheapskates when buying things supporting a good cause! It's cringy and shameful. Today I witnessed an American lady bargaining over a child's painting which of the proceeds is for their education. The Rwandan salesman was saying a lot of Americans do this to their paintings. 😢
Exactly...there are things you bargain over and things you have to be respectful and pay a fair price.....
This video touched me in my heart ❤ love you sister

Hey! This is good! The views are stunning!
Mannnnn you have no idea, there was so much more beauty I have to share with another video
@@adventurousmidlifer I wish you were in Rwanda still and see you. You are amazing and amusing.
It brings me such joy to see African Americans promoting Africa. Rwanda sounds like my kind of place. I love this sister ❤️.
There is such beauty and the people are cool as hell. Like with all Countries there's always two sides to how people view it.
Africans don't have much food allergies, so it's never been much of a thing to a advertise it.
Listen, that is an American thing LOL. I am soooo glad I don;t have any food allergies or I would be dead already 🤣
We love you.🎉 ❤ you're a sister!! Especially the negotiations about 500Frw. I am Rwandan and i ALWAYS double parking fee and moto fare
Love this!!!
