Well, I'm very frustrated with my HP 6055e printer. Called HP tech support 6 or more times now to resolve this. Used the smart app and it says everything OK, but still does not print. I need to unplug the printer, wait a few minutes, plug it in. Then it prints. Next day, same old story. Says printer off line. so I go through the unplug routine again. Also the ink I received from HP can't be installed in my printer - the cartridge is too long. So I cancelled my instant ink thing. The ink I bought at Walmart works fine. HP comments say - oh you can install the longer cartridges, but I tried with no success. What's going on? Either get this fixed or replace my printer with one that will work!

Be careful logging into HP accounts, there are many fake HP sites that prompt you to call in, then give access to computer, and claim you have a virus that needs a costly repair. Google the scam and you'll see it's happening. HP needs to address this ASAP. Considering returning my printer as a result.

The problem I'm trying to solve is enabling my printer to use compatiable ink cartridges instead of those supplied by HP. I can't find any concrete help on the HP website, including the community board. I don't want to start messing about with something I don't fully understand. Any help would be appreciated.
