Let’s make an effort to spend Time with God just as people we love on earth. He deserves more than anything. Like Jesus said on the cross “ I thirst” he thirsts for souls. Spending more time with God is a great way to start the new year!

I love the birds!!! How beautiful is nature!! “Behold, a whirl wind of the Lord is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked” the Lord spoke about false prophets. Their ways caused them to sin and to believe false ideas. This is a good time to reflect especially with the new year. If any person any thing we hear anything that we see leads us to sin. Do we believe people’s earthly ideas? It’s a good way to start the new year and see who influences our mind. Our decisions our words, our actions.

Thank you for sharing your story. I hope it does inspire others who are dealing with the same issues. Unfortunately, it is proven that humans will always let us down. We are incapable of being perfect. In life yes we have earthly duties and responsibilities. However, we always need to think of Jesus.That’s how simple it is. Don’t worry about people, work, money, etc. just stay focused on Jesus and everything will work out. That is the only thing that we need to completely abandon ourselves too. And like you said, let go and let God.

“See how all of you are following the stubbornness of your evil hearts instead of obeying me.” This is a powerful line for us all to reflect if we are following Jesus every moment! We may not realize we are offending him by what conversations we engage in or what we watch or listen to but we must always put him first. It does offend him when we don’t consider his feelings and his word. We should all pray for God to show us if we are doing things that he does not like so we can fix it.

I love to hear the water!! How lovely!From what I remember about this powerful reading is a conversation between the Lord and Jeremiah about what caused Judah to fall out of God's favor. It looks like the people were really stuck in their ways when it came to sin. We must always strive to be better every day and stay away from sin. Every Sin puts distance between us and the Lord. It’s like fog and makes it harder for us to see and be close to Jesus.
