What buttons can I use for rudder pedals?
If you want realism I’d heavily recommend buying some actual rudder pedals. If you just want to fly for fun and don’t want to spend too much button/switches C1/C2 could work as rudder axis? I haven’t personally tried…
Hi Ash great video. You have done a great job promoting flying to others. It is obvious from your videos that you are very confidant with your instructors and with the planes you have used for your lessons.
Congratulations Ash RA Oz has chosen a perfect ambassador as you will give it your best and inspire others!
Ashton that was a great experience for you, well done and you have definitely chosen the right path to your future!
Great work Ash! Awesome milestone to achieve!
You have a brilliant future in aviation because you are so motivated man. My sub for an incredible video presentation.
Thanks a ton!
@AviatorAsh Of course, keep going
I’m 11 and hope I can do that, if I get the chance I’m gonna do a discovery flight
Awesome, Definitely worth it! Are you located in Aus or what country?
USA Louisiana
Great video Ash
So proud of u bro
Thanks mate!
What is stopping me to drive a car is my age I am 14 😢.I have to be 18
The wait will make the reward even more worthwhile.
Good job mate
Thankyou!
My friend made the news in qld for youngest solo pilot
Whats stopping me ? MONEY
Is your dream to be a pilot?
If i can do it, whats stopping you.... THE SILVER F...... SPOON
I’ve actually paid for my own flight training. I started saving when I was 15 and got a part time/casual job. Been working around 15-20+ hours each week, none of this would be possible without my own hard work. Certainly not ‘handed’ to me.
@AviatorAsh Impressive bro😮 Did you do a 'normal' job or did you do like dropshipping or investing what alot of ppl do at ur age.
I did a ‘normal’ job being retail. In at the workplace mostly everyday except for when I’m flying!
I am also 16 and going solo in about 2 weeks hopefully
Awesome mate! Good luck!
It's always a nice freedom to not have an instructor cook you on every landing 😂
Wouldn’t be a problem if your landings were always perfect 😜.
@AviatorAsh oh there's always something 🤣
Is it compatible with the Xbox?
Unfortunately I believe it isn’t. Turtle Beach velocity would be your best option
Good job Ash! Took me 13 years to build 100 hours can only do what you can do. Enjoy it
You make it look so easy. I just bought the flight yoke system. I will eventually add the foot rudder pedals and some of the other components at a later time. My issue is space, I barely have room for it.
wow being inside of the cockpit one off my dream but ticket its really expensive i am amazed to you bro
Great Vid! Maybe flying a plane solo will finally help you not airball in basketball. :)
Congrats! After a few more flights it'll feel no different than flying with an instructor!
Great stuff Ash! Keep up the good work 💪
Congrats, where are you flying from
Out of Lethbridge Airport (YLED) in Australia
Absolutely amazing Ash!! So proud of you mate❤️✨🫶
Well done Ash. You’re a champion mate! Congratulations on such a huge milestone. Looking forward to following your journey in aviation. You’ll go far 👍🏼
Awesome Ash, brilliant, a great accomplishment 👍
Wooooohoooo! Go Ashton! Absolutely awesome to see! ✈️
Congratulations Ash! An inspiring achievement that you will remember forever. It was an absolute joy to watch.
Congratulations Ash. No words to describe how brilliant it was seeing your first solo flight. Amazing dedication and passion!
Great experience for you Ashton-I enjoyed this video very much, well done!
Thankyou, It was such an awesome experience! Glad you liked the video!
Is compatible with msf2024?
Yes it is
nice work
Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals are still top notch, I'm using them myself as well 😁
Amazing opportunity, can't wait to see how your aviator journey progresses from here.
Far out those bad boys look stunning on you. Great review
Great video and review of the Flyte sunglasses Ashton
I would always recommend the Winwing URSA minor, it is an excellent piece of kit for a realistic experience and a near replica of the A320 sidestick:)
Did you try the interactive checklist as it was designed following the official aircraft POH ?
I will have to have a look. 👀
I’m happy you like my first baby
How do you pay for this stuff man
I work a part time job. Work hard and save up the money.
Would love to do this too... Except I live nowhere near any kind of airport 😅
How?? I’m 14 and I wanna get my pilot liscence and I live in Switzerland. Do I just need to pay for lessons ?
Contact your local flight school. They’ll be able to help you out
money...
My money…

That numberplate is a good trick. Sometimes just listening in on atc can help also
The reason the rudder even exists is to counteract adverse yaw. (This is a detailed explanation of why turns are coordinated) Say we were to make left turn as you do this the alierons deflect the air of the left wing up causing it to go down and vice versa on the other side. As this happens the right wing produces more lift and therefore more drag as it raises. The nose will initially pull to the right opposite of our left turn due to that drag. You can't really see this in a powered plane but you can in a glider. To counteract this we use the rudder to fix the adverse yaw. There you go. Now you know more than most licensed pilots do!
I have found flight sims to be very good at learning systems, procedures, and approaches etc. You still will never get the feel of a real yoke/stick. We don't have good force feedback yet.
I’m doing the same too! I wanna be a pilot again don’t have my solo license yet tho ):
how are you paying for this?!?!?
Daddy’s money most likely
Daddy
@@EnderPrinceLivenot a bad thing he is only 15
@@LeXro6 didnt say it was bad just saying it was his money, i used my parents money at 15 as well
I have a part time job which I’m working hard to be able to pay for my flying lessons. It is my money.
W brother I am working on same thing don’t have my solo license yet tho
