Wow!
Aurora cam
That was neat though short!
Just as it was getting going then it cut off? What happened?
What happened? Why did it cut off?
HAARP WAS GOIN WAY TOO CRAZY
Miss some of that live chat!
My apologies last night early this morning. I was posting comments about the aurora in hopes you would answer. What we witnessed isn’t normal behavior in the north. Shimmer is an effect of the southern lights. And we in chat could have used w mod or a professional with some knowledge about it. I’m sorry again I wasn’t trying to flood chat with spam. I even sat with a student this morning and we scrolled back and watched it together. My daughter started her junior year in high school this year and she’s taking earth and space science
Absolutely amazing show tonight!
Beautiful
Very pretty sky!
What happened to the stream?
2024-08-24 From 01:00:00 and the next few hours… what is that star passing over the handle of the Big Dipper starting just over the third star, moving left and up A comet or asteroid og satelite or space ship?? 01:45:00 it is over the second star 01:15:00 it is visible despite thin clouds covering Big Dipper and making it invisible, so it must be quite near. Not visible later, when a bit thicker cloud layer or Fog comes in.. Edit: Found out it is geostationary. At least, the Stars rotate With the sky as usual, but this one star keeps its position on the screen/ field of view…
What's the point of posting 37 seconds of almost featureless sky? Especially on a website labelled as an aurora camera. I would expect that the videos presented here would show auroras, not random snippets of videos of bland sky. And why do the thumbnails of many of the videos show a bright aurora, when the video itself contains nothing of the sort? Completely misleading. I expect better from a university. But then it's a USA university, so maybe I should set my expectations at a lower level.
Just beautiful! Thank you!
lattitude is 32N, so if got Aurora here, certainly will have in Wisconsin
I hope it's okay, I made a 100x timelapse of this livestream: th-cam.com/video/9qBlQ-28-s0/w-d-xo.html
3:34:00 FIREBALL! It was directly overhead here in Winnipeg! I was looking down at my phone when the ground lit up! 😢
That was about the time one of the better substorms hit
Oh, this isn't livestream, it's a delayed recording from last night. Does it become true livestream after dark on most nights?
It was live at the time, now it’s just a recording. You’ll see a new live stream if they go live again tonight
yeeeaaahhhhh..........
Could hardly see any stars. Seems like quite a few of your livestreams are too dark. I think I saw you guys comment that exposure or a dirty camera was to blame before? Hope it's fixed soon! 🤞🏻
Offline during northern lights. Always check the forecast. Friday evening is another opportunity.
5:24:42 😮⚡
j cole would be proud
Sure is!
I love how you tackle different topics with such enthusiasm. It's infectious!
Beautiful sunset.
Tonight would be the night to stream if you have clear skies there.
No Aurora in the afternoon, but the sky is very pretty.
The 11:30pm ones was by far the brights ones that I have ever seen.
This day was so awesome!
Hello from California 🌠✨✨✨🚀 y
The best part is from 3 hours
Date is 2024-5-9 so not live?
Just heading out tonight ...hope the weather stays clear ✌️🫶🌠🌌💫🫵
OMGoodness at around 4:56:40 in the video playback there is a shooting star.
came on here last night because all the other auroral cams are off.......saw a comment someone seeing the aurora by the GA/FL line so i went outside......we sat out on our front porch and with the naked eye we saw the aurora in pinkish red and green streaks and a kind of fluffy looking moving haze. in blairsville,ga 34.8º latitude. check that puppy off the bucket list!!! hoping we might see something tonight!!!
Sunshine village aurora cam does not disappoint
Thank you, I live north as well but not as far as Canada. I'll be checking my skies here tonight to see what I can see. Thank for sharing, it's so weird how this happens, fascinating.
Caught some over England last night
4:56:37 I saw this fireball from Winnipeg Manitoba and it was slow and bright!
Thanks so much. Was great seeing this "live" last night.
Wow!
Wow
Don't be offline when there's northern light activity. Check the forecast every day. Tonight is another good one (4-26-24).
Looks like it's going to be a warm, cloudy night.
should be somethin this week right?
Is the camera not streaming lives anymore?
Tonight would have been a great nite for northern lights being visible in North Dakota but your camera has to be on, and once again, it's offline. Sitting out another one.
Offline again on what might be a good night. Long time no stream.
Offline tonight when there might be good northern lights viewing and it might matter. Monitor the aurora forecasts for those good evenings?
I never Saw Aurora behave like this. Awesome 😍🥳
