They should have listened to you Treva!! You'd think that with all the covid experience they now have under their belt, they would know this about intubation and also prone position. I'm totally shocked about temporary pacer! You hang in there girl!! You are doing what you can, and you are learning so much from this experience, and all that, will benefit Peacehealth patients. When you get back, you should seriously meet with all of the Nurses, Pulmonologists, Critical care specialists, administration, charge nurses (ED as well as ICU), and Nurse Managers (ED and ICU). You will really be able to help our community Treva. Stay positive. We so appreciate you!!

I absolutely love hearing about your days there! I’ve been an RN for only a little more than 3.5 years and I’ve only worked Oncology. So far we’ve been last on the list for Covid patients because of our immunocompromised patients. I’ve actually learned a lot just from these short videos that you make. Maybe this is a dumb question, but I was wondering if you can describe lung sounds of your Covid positive patients. Is there any thing that you’ve noticed that’s different? And if so what?
