In January of 2025, Dave Grosshuesch from the U.S. Forest Service - Superior National Forest joined the Northern Forest Birds Network to give an overview of the American Goshawk. Dave talked about the status of American Goshawk in the Forest and state of Minnesota, basic life history aspects in Minnesota, monitoring efforts, vegetation management in Superior territories, and considerations of management for American Goshawk.
