2006 CTS didn't work. I used the diagram on a White, Red, and Black wire end from an AUX cord. The XM feed is mixed with the aux cord. Very frustrating. Anyone else deal with this?

Can someone pls make a video stating what color is what on this car

I would like to put this in my 07 Cadillac CTS. But I listen to XM in my car and have a paid prescription with them. And if I’m understanding this correctly this would make it so that my XM radio stations don’t work no more right?

Worked like a charm in my 05 cts and i used a Bluetooth connection to the aux cable

2 mistakes. 1. The lower bracket does not just come off there is a 7mm screw. Also one of the wires is not black and white it it actually brown

What if I don’t have xm?

Far too complicated messing with all those wires for the average person! Much much easier and simpler to just put an upgraded newer stereo. System in the car with Bluetooth already built into it! I would never attempt this at all!

In my Cadillac CTS 2005, it's everything this video says. Except it's a small brown wire wire white stripe instead of a black with white stripe. And the tan and dark green both have white stripes to. Not the fat black wire. All the wires you cut from the car harness are the same gauge. Aux red to brown with white stripe Aux white to dark green with white stripe Aux bare to tan with white stripe At least for a CTS 2005

I had someone try and install a screen but then messed everything up but kept all my harnesses after wires were all cut... so i am doing a hardwire straight, but idk which color goes in which spot so if you dont mind sending me the pics of the harnesses if you have them or if anyone on here has them then that would be great... I have a 04 CTS & I love the car but what makes me wanna trade it is the inability to stream music. I went got a fm transmitter but it sucks too. Too much static & volume too low. I’m wondering if there is another alternative to fix these issues so ima consult a stereo tech to see what can be done

My Grey connector doesn’t have same color wires...doesn’t have dark green, red/white and black so now I’m confused...need help

Funny cause I also own an 05 TL same color as yours and a 2007 Cadillac CTS, which is a piece of shit. After a year I get all these lights go off. Service theft system, check engine and thats because of the timing chain, needs replaced. I will be happy if I get 2K for it.
