Not true, you can hear the limiter before taking off. Then when taking off you can hear it limiting the power so it doesn’t spin

I uploaded a video of the sound with the baffle before this video. It’s definitely a noticeable difference in sound and power with out the baffles. Feels like it has more torque.

Yeah, definitely wouldn’t be able to get rid of the duals for a 25. Although I haven’t don’t anything to the suspension as of now, it feels a lot better than my previous KX did.

So unfortunately I didn’t get an hour meter when I bought the bike because the dealer didn’t have any. I was very impatient to order one so just tried to break it in asap. So I’m not sure exactly how many hours it has but I have never done a valve adjustment. Definitely need to this summer, I can tell it takes a little longer to start but not bad compared to my older CRF or RMZ.

Yeah I plan on keeping mine most likely forever because I wanted a Honda with dual exhaust since I was a kid. Also I have never ridden a bike with a hydraulic clutch, so I’m not too sure how I would like that. Would love to ride one though. Also I love the way the 25 redesign is like a retro style.

@@450rotm7 hydraulic is so much better I have now 2 bikes, ktm sxf 250 2020 and tm mx 144 2012 and both have hydraulic clutch, short time before I got them I had beta rr 50 2t and yz125 without hydraulic clutch but I can only compare YZ and TM bc I had both of those bikes in same time. Tms nissin(now brembo) clutch won easily. I feel like ktm have better clutch than tm but maybe I think like it bc its younger bike

109mth on ktm 2nd piston( I heard that crank can easily stand 3 pistons without exchange)

@@450rotm7 I have like almost 150 on mine and debating on trading it to avoid spending money on a rebuild. it runs perfect, but it’s getting to be about time hours wise

That is actually going to be the topic of my next video. I have only had the bike overheat one time in the last 3.5 years although check the coolant very regularly because I have had to add some to mine. The only time it over heated was in the middle of summer when it was 90° and I was letting it warm up and let it idle a little too long.

Haha I understand that. I love the area I have to ride for sure. Although I feel like it may be boring to watch someone ride the same area in every video. Also I love exploring new areas, so really hope to go more places this year for those reasons.

Haha I would love to, although I look for bikes all the time just because I like to see what prices are like and what’s on the market. Honestly can’t say I have ever even seen one listed for sale, would love to ride one at some point!

Not sure, ever since I got the bike I have done a mix of 93 and 98 octane and have never had any issues, and feel like it runs 10x better than my previous bikes. I have had people ask me why I get fuel from a racetrack because it’s more expensive, although runs a lot better than regular 93 which is the highest octane most places have here.

Thanks man, really means a lot! I was actually considering doing maintenance style videos, because like you said most are older videos of the older bikes. I really enjoy making videos, just sometimes gets a little challenging when you don’t have many places to ride/people to ride with, although hopefully that will change this year.

Yeah I noticed when I was taking my GoPro off, it was pointed down. Will make sure it’s pointing up from now on.

I only had the bike for about 2 years after I made this video because I bought a new CRF450R. I never had any issues with the motor, although the front forks were leaking oil when I got rid of it. Could have just been a seal but not 100% sure

Personally I think it’s easier to use the power of the bike to get it up, then learn where the balance point is and work on throttle control. Most people also use the back break but I have not been able to get that down yet, so I just use the throttle to keep it up.

The bike is stock, I honestly have not even thought about getting a tune for it but will definitely look into it

I had my KX450F for about 2 years and I definitely enjoyed the bike and liked the power but the CRF felt completely different to me which I really liked. As well as I like how the CRF feels a little more narrow when riding it, feels like you can throw it in to a corner much easier in my opinion. Although I have never ridden any older KX450s just a 2015 and I had a 2017

Nice, I have actually never ridden any Husqvarna or KTM 2 strokes but I bet they’re fun bikes.
