You can probably relatively easily prove damages for cheats like this. Find the release date of the cheat, examine player counts after the fact. And in bungie's case copyright won that suit.

What was the merits on the case 60,000 doesn’t seem like much was it more of a technicality like you broke tos? And also depends on which state county they have filed this in, a movement would be hard to start from this especially if the case only brought about $60,000 and you have to be careful with cases like this because it could set a president that we don’t on what we buy. I’m remembering PlayStation, a.k.a. Sony try to go after people who were jailbreaking their PlayStation’s, but they lost because you’re allowed to do what you want with your own property just like that’s why Apple never went after Jail breakers after they lost the case stating that people weren’t allowed to jailbreak their own phones.

TH-cam needs to take action to be honest. This website is the Number 1 source for finding Cheat Software for literally any Game. And many TH-camrs make video's of themselves cheating against people online. This breaks TH-cam's TOS in a few ways... 1. Cheating online is considered Cyber Bullying. We pay good money for a game not to have our time here on earth literally wasted. it is Greifing at it's core. 2. It's Reverse Engineering of Software. 3. Intent to Distribute Reverse Engineering Software protected by Copyright is also a Crime.

I joined the PCMR around 2019. No regrets.

The current PS and Xbox both released in strange circumstances (Corona) and had limited amounts available, because of not many consoles being around for this new gen a lot of newer releases ended up coming out on the current/previous gen. I've been a gamer since 8 bit. This is the first gen I'm going to skip on, potentially getting a Switch 2 instead of MS/Sony. I just don't find the new gen consoles to be anything interesting or really having an identity compared to gens beforehand. Granted there will never be anything like 2D sprite based consoles moving to 3D polygon tech as a massive leap again but there is usually something to make the newer consoles worth it. So outside of the corporate greed and other factors (anti fanbase practices, woke etc) I think there might be others like me who just see no real reason for the current consoles outside of Switch which actually does bring it's own thing to the table.

I think the direction the videogame console industry wants to head into is streaming, consoles are just beconing obselete. While Pc is timeless and can do much more, its just worth more investing into

Nice. Nintendo has been around since 1889. They'll never sell their soul to PC. Playstation and XBOX were just 'pretend' Pc's anyway. So their existence is no longer required. No innovation killed them both. Nintendo thinks outside of the box and try new things, so going to PC makes no sense for them. Microsoft is giving us every reason NOT to own an Xbox (Great strategy X_X.). Sony lost their magic. (Censorship). Nintendo is Nintendo. Exclusives still exist and always will.

Dreamworks making video game movies is copying what Nintendo is doing. Nintendo is also making video game movies.

tbh i never played a ubisoft game other than uno but i installed ac1 and farcry3 i have tried farcry2 but had problems with pc anyway i keep hearing about how goated the older titles were so m gonna check them out play for few hours this weekend

Civilization 7, which has been due for an official announcement for a hot minute now. Not 100% sure (more like 90%) if it is actually going to be that one, but it sure as hell has a far higher chance than any mentioned. Of those, BL would be the least unlikely, but since the flop that was TTW, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Other stores aside from game stores sell games as well. Basically any store which sell electronics also sell video games.

The ability to be so wrong about so much in such a short video is truly an impressive feat. 1) GameStop is still around. It has not shut down, is not shut down, and has made no announcement *to* shut down. Sure it's not as successful as it once was. But to say it's gone is a crazy mischaracterization. 2) Microsoft and Sony also still sell physical. To say Nintendo is the only one grasping on is actually wild. I'm actually in the same boat as you. I also prefer buying digital. But to say that buying physical is now "niche" is so wrong, lol

Probably a hot take (because of the amount of hate the game gets) but I hope dreamworks makes a Fortnite movie based on Chapter 2 Season 2, I even made my own concept for one Imo they’re the perfect studio for a Fortnite movie and Chapter 2 Season 2 is the perfect season to adapt into a movie imo

Why does everyone gripe about how long it takes? There have been books that end on cliffhangers that don't get sequels for far longer than any video game. You have plenty to play, you should be happy you're getting more time with the ones you already bought.

A common but fundamental misunderstanding of what Ross is trying for. It is very specifically not about forcing companies to maintain perpetual access and support. That would be economically unfeasible. It's about forcing them to make the tools available for people to maintain the games themselves. The issue is making sure the politicians don't end up with the garbled version and dismiss it out of hand.
