Add some blue grille lights bro haha
Unfortunately, I don't have this vehicle anymore. Additionally, we were only allowed the blue dash light in the front window, not allowed elsewhere on personal vehicles (Fire Department mandate as well as NYS Vehicle Lighting Laws)
So ccx❤ Wendy😊🎉🎉😢
Blue to the rear in Florida?! 😮
There was new legislation passed recently allowing blue emergency warning lights on fire apparatus. OFD has started swapping lights on most of their apparatus within the past months
Good catch of BC2 E18 L18 R18 and SQ18
Its Truck 18 (T18)
They dont use BC as nevada, NV only uses B2
Does it matter? BC is Battalion Chief 2 for one . And for Two.. Ladder or Truck 18 it's The same. And I know NV uses T. I have lived out in NV my whole life. So please , kindly And politely do not correct me. I would really appreciate it

cool video! Suggestion: Could you get more videos with the Station’s air raid siren sounding?
To my knowledge, the two departments in Amherst who had the Station Air Sirens no longer use them due to better systems being used (IAmResponding and Minitor paging) I am also no longer based in Amherst, so there won't be many of those videos coming out soon.

Great video. Love Tower 10 ❤. Is she older and thats why shes a spare? Nice Q usage too. I just subscribed
@geoffg8840 Tower 10's frontline apparatus was out for maintenance and was subbed in with an older 2000s Sutphen Tower Ladder (ex T8 if I recall in this video) Thanks for subbing!
Loved your video
Thanks for watching!
I’ve always wondered to paramedic squads still do rescues and paramedic procedures like La county squads use to do back in 1970s
As always appreciate outstanding excellent they deserve alot of credit tons of it let's honor and appreciate the paramedics and firemen who proudly serve us your service and time and efforts are deeply appreciated even by buffalo fd responding great job great team work and great and sweet catches as usual still going strong great team efforts are deeply appreciated thanks to everyone who responds and is involved stay safe and warm out there stay strong and healthy as well very impressed keep the vidoes coming appreciate you guys thanks !!! Joe
Always enjoy watching a fire engine leave the station!
Awsome truck
Awesome video keep up with a great work and be safe out there.
Awesome catch! My dept has an Excursion for medicsls too but its not decked out like that, thing looks awesome.
This particular Ford Excursion also comes with a set of snow tracks for winter operations and becomes a "Snowscursion" much like its counterparts over at NYS Fire
Awesome catch! Love the paint jobs on those rigs
Thank you very much and thanks for watching!
Why do they not use the Federal Q, and just use the Whelen sirens?
My guess is either SOP or operator's personal preference... It seems like a lot of departments I've seen over the years either do one or the other (or sometimes both)
Is this for a holiday
Healthcare Worker appreciation during COVID
Enjoy your videos, thank you for posting them!
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!
That is so awesome
The vehicle maintenance shop is doing some crazy fabrication in place of lightbars! Instead of buying an apparatus lightbar lets just paint this big piece of metal yellow and stick 10 surface mount lights on it :)
Seems to be a trend nationally to save money on full-size lightbars... it might also be quicker to order these smaller lightheads than ordering a full lightbar
Very nice setup I love the low profile. You should add wigwags and a taillight flasher to the lights
Low-profile is the way to go in my opinion for a personal use vehicle... as far as headlight/taillight flashers, NYS does not allow flashing red lights unless you're an authorized emergency vehicle... I may end up adding hideaway strobes in the front and rear that are Amber/White for better intersection warning though...
Thank you for your service CCFD😁👍
The truck is know red with the tan on top
Definitely an interesting look... not sure which looks more odd (I wasn't a fan of the color to begin with, but I'm also not a fan of the new look either)
It's actually Lotus Creme the name of that color. It was the color of our first ambulance (1949 Cadillac) and this was the color it came in. The rumor is a past chief of ours liked it so much he made the decision right then and there to change all the rigs to that color and well, as firefighters are people of traditions, it's stayed this long. Although all rigs starting with our New E-One are going to be red with the Lotus Creme on the top of the Cab. Reason it changed on 406 is because 1) Our chief wanted it to match our new pumper, and 2) because it got rear-ended by a drunk driver at speed while the rig was turning, who had a cattle bar on the front of his pickup
Can we get the license plate number on the black Dodge pick up that didn't yield to emergency vehicle😡
I've been saying this for a while now, Fire/EMS vehicles should be equipped with ALPR cameras just like PD cars that will capture license plates of vehicles that pass or don't yield to Fire/EMS vehicles that have their emergency lights activated...
Nice looking truck for sure!
They're definitely not your average looking firetrucks, but I'm always a fan of unique paint schemes!
Great video
Thanks!

Did they drive into Canada? Just asking
They did not. Parade started in Cheektowaga and went to Downtown Buffalo, stopping at local hospitals along the way for the healthcare workers.
Suburban oxygen supply wasn't listed for unit's on scene. 🥺 we got called in to fill air bottles.
@Dan DeMeester: Sorry about that, I was going off of the initial tone-outs and what was on-scene at the time I was there...
@@3rdWatchMediaGroup no worries.

Your service and time and efforts are deeply appreciated thanks to everyone who responds keep them safe out there job well done you should be proud stay safe out there ! Joe
Canada sucks, eh?
Surprised they aren't more picky about making sure the apparatus end up behind the right door.
From what I've been able to find, it appears that the apparatus have both been parked that way for a while... I don't think they were overly concerned about it haha...
@@3rdWatchMediaGroup Probably not and honestly its not that big of a deal. Just caught me off guard was all.
Then why don’t they just put them in the right door to begin with if it doesn’t matter? Could it be that it’s easier for the ladder to swing right onto Hanover Street?
@@Marrio49 Entirely possible. That house is older and the rigs built today are bigger, so it may be a case of ease of exit/access for both.
@@Stargazzer811 remember that the station housed a tiller ladder before the newer straight trucks arrived.
Cool Catch!👍
