The Great Egret a non endangered bird, of larger body. White with orange beak that is pointed. While April is typical breeding season, it can go on into September. These beautiful birds were observed in a colony with other wading birds, just this September 2024 Michigan. Thanks for watching.

I hear an intriguing variety of avian voices in the Joyful Chorus! ❤ 😍 Canada(?) Goose (need to know region to properly ID) American Crow Killdeer Blue Jay Common Yellowthroat Mallard Duck Also, this scene is a multi-species feeding aggregation, not a rookery site (as the birds would be up in trees, building or tending nests).
