Neither,J class weren,t gaff rigged.Was known as the big class,later converted to the 23 metre rule to compete with the J class

I'm a lifelong RC enthusiast, mostly planes and cars. Also a lifelong sailor yet never had any interest in RC sailboats... until now. ☺
I'm hoping to buy an older second-hand IOM. Just got into RC yachts and enjoying my little Compass 65 but the IOM are a bit special. I find them fascinating for some reason. Thanks for the video.

What are the dimensions for this beauty?
Britannia's hull is 2.1 Meters long and 2.75 Meters from bowsprit to the end of the boom. It uses a scale keel covered with around 900 pieces of copper shim.

The front ones did but the rear wouldn't lift it out of the water, he has more trimming to do.

Smaller props help get higher RPM for Nitro. Try 29 mm aluminum or Smaller... 2 blades. GLOW number 8.

Are there any full sized Fisher 37 in Australia. Great model and good to see as I was the Export Sales Manager for Fairways Marine during the 1970 and I don’t remember ever selling one to Australia. They were tough go anywhere boats so I suppose one could have got that far.

It is on private land. Our normal sailing days at Forcett are on Sunday's and Thursday's 9:30am - 12:00pm
