I think I hold a similar sentiment to you, and although times are seeming almost insurmountably difficult, I do really believe that people will find common ground where its given. Saw you on David Bruce's channel and came over to hear more of your music. I'm sure someone else has told you that they are reminded of Scarlet Envy, a former contestant on Drag Race, when they see you. Would love to see her playing your mother in one of your music videos you are both so stunning. Don't know if it's musically appropriate but some of what you played in David's video had me wanting to hear some folk fiddle in there cause it gave me shades of a blue grass feel. I love blue grass. Wondering if you've ever been asked to sit in with Goat Rodeo.

Beautiful! Although I'll admit I felt a little bit lost rhythmically in some parts. Maybe it's because the yangqin doesn't have percussion or a bass to ground it. Maybe if you add some very low notes on the beats without notes, you could get a stronger pulse without forgoing the syncopation feel. But that's just an idea. Still beautiful!
