    I would love to know how this is holding up! We are in the process of considering adding rabbits to our family and I absolutely love this run you made! I’m really worried about the grass area turning to mud. How do you feel yours has held up?

    • @familygarden1764
      @familygarden1764 ปีที่แล้ว

      Our run is under cover so there isn’t any mud. They do eat the grass down to the earth though so we do have to regularly replace the turf. Other than that it’s held up really well.

    Haven't finished watching your little vid yet but just noticed your wild garlic. It doesn't look like the native broad leaf variety but something I think might be called Spanish Leek. I put a small clump in my back garden about twelve or more years ago. I am still trying to get rid of it. It is the most invasive plant I have ever come across. Please be careful. Given half a chance and it will spread throughout your entire plot. That's my experience of this little *&$%!"£$ anyway.

    I’ve never transplanted root vegetables, like beets. It doesn’t mess up the formation of the beet or do you mostly grow for the greens?

    • @familygarden1764
      @familygarden1764 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope. Never had problems with formation. I direct sow carrots and parsnips. I multi sow all my beets, turnips and spring onions and have lovely formation. I twist out one beetroot per bundle when I harvest which allows the rest to carry on growing. Charles Dowding is the chap to look for when it comes to multi sowing.
