Thank you for sharing. I have had Frenchies for nearly 20 years. I have 2 Frenchies with this, one dog cleared up on antibiotics and a change of diet (freshly cooked food), for mine hydrolyzed protein food, made the symptoms worse. I'm struggling with my other Frenchie, finding it hard to clear up, now we have been battling for over a year. The next step is to see a nutritionist to try herbal and natural remedies.

Oh my goodness. This video is so valuable. Thank you so much for sharing. The story that you told is textbook to what we experienced with our two and a half year old Frenchie. She was confirmed through biopsy but it took us a long time to get to that point and several near death experiences. When we finally got it confirmed we use the baytril for 10 wks. It seems to have wiped out or at least put her condition into a remissive state. She, however, is still on a steroid to help with her GI upsets because she does still have IBD. Hydrolyzed diets didn't work for her, so we have her on Nom Nom. Because she has a hard time putting on weight, we also try to give her dehydrated turkey liver food topper, and a high density calorie paste. Anyway thank you again so much for sharing this because it is so important that other French owners know this and they don't go through the same long journey of trying to figure out why their frenchie is sick.

I am dealing with the same. I rescued a Frenchie from a family who neglected him and had him out in the patio day and night, he would drink dirty water from the ground. In November he will be 2 years old. After an entire year of tests, food/diet adjustments, 2 months of antibiotics, probiotics, endoscopy, colonoscopy, biopsy you name it….. my pup was diagnosed with GC and 3 months later we are still dealing with this. It is so painful as I know my puppy is not comfortable when going potty. There has not been even one day that I can say he has had a healthy firm stool. Are you able to share what foods have worked for you? I have tried many brands and options but would love to hear your experience. Thank you so much for this video!

Thank you for this video.. I work as groomer and we have couple disabled dogs that come in for weekly bathing to keep area clean.. As a home seamstress I have sewn up cloth diapers for clients but couldn't figure out how to keep diaper on. This idea helps so much!! Thank you!!

Thanks so much for posting this!! I don’t have a sewing machine but I think I will try to pick one up. I adopted a frenchton that is Deaf with nerve damage so he’s a diaper dog. We’ve been using disposable diapers and covers with onsies but he is an escape artist and knows how to take them off!! The ones on online are like $80.00 each!! Can’t wait to try♥️
