Trying to do Some Work on my TLW Mercedes and Camper
So the phone I'm using to record has some issue with recording audio and I've used an external mic to get clean audio. I guess several times I didn't have the plug all the way in so that's why half this video's audio is garbage. I tried to clean it up as best I could but I'll try to avoid making that mistake again, sorry!!
Now that the weather is nicer, I've started to try to do some more work on my vehicles. Its extremely difficult and frustrating though, since thanks to my long covid condition I can't do very much through the week. I'm seeing some new doctors who will hopefully help me out, but at this point I'm not very hopeful about the chances of that happening.

Working on ML and Trailer, then Doctor Visit
มุมมอง 119ปีที่แล้ว
Now that most of the snow is melted, it's time to get a few things done on the vehicles that I've been wanting to do....and neglecting....for awhile now. I also had a follow up with my ENT doctor, who basically said he can't help me any further and is sending me to another ENT doctor who specializes more in what my problems are. I'll have that one and another one with my regular doctor in May, ...

    Nice vid and build, I read all the comments... Did you run into issues with negative camber after the lift? I went with 30mm spacers (25.4mm is 1in) and got quite a bit of negative camber, even with upper A arms pull all the way out.

    • @jaskolp
      @jaskolp 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks! Yeah I have some negative camber (was going to get an alignment but never got the chance), but my spacers are only like 20mm. Eventually I'll get that sorted, but at this rate it'll be whenever I get new tires too. I saw a video series (Legitstreetcars) where they lifted an amg version with like, 4 inch spacers, and had to do that to solve the camber issue.

    • @SenorReso
      @SenorReso 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jaskolp Good luck man! I'm curious to hear how that goes. I might do 15mm down the line. I'm realizing these things are not the easiest to modify without some fab work. I actually called the shop @Legitstreetcars used, and it wasn't included in the video but they had to weld on additional material to the rear upper A arm mounts to get it aligned.

    • @jaskolp
      @jaskolp ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I used Rustoleum spray paints (can be found easily) for the car and trailer. I'd recommend using a high quality enamal clear coat since the clear coat version I used went on poorly and doesn't hold up well after a couple years (especially if using the car for more than just a prop). Here are the color names I used: Warm caramel Hunt Club Green Moss Green Canyon Black There are a few other ML builders who went with the custom color route, but I don't know what the codes for those are. The only one I can think of right now is LakeZide Performance. He has several videos going through restoring a ML and paint/build process.

Also where these all satin colours to ? 😊 and the high quality enamel clear coat a top coat after you finish’s painting. Can I also ask did you have to remove the widows and seal and such while painting or did you manage to just paint up to them originally. Thanks again
