All these guys talking smack... That was a base 6 speed Camaro with a strait pipe. Make it an 8 speed FBO with a tune and that R/T wouldn't have caught up.
Or just compare a base v8 Mopar to base v8 Chevy no contest

Actually the pre 2015 are slow cuz of the 5 speed and also the 2015 to 2018 are slower then the 2019 and up chargers. It's been proven
@@just_a5.7 idk the new 6th gen camaros v6 are faster than the new 8 speed rts because of the weight difference I seen a lot of videos where the v6 camaros be gapping these 8 speed rts.

Roll racing then I made a u turn and another v6 Camaro saw wat I did to the red rs so I was waving at him too and honking to catch a race and he kept going faster so I couldnt line up next to him lmaooooo! Then I caught up to him and honked and he turned into a parking lot

Have to admit the new T4 and V6 Camaros are pretty fast for what they are but once that weight gets moving it’s hard for them to hang with a V8. I love Camaros, Chargers and Challengers, as long as it’s not a Mustang is my motto. I had to settle for a G37 sedan, I needed a new car ASAP but with the car market all fkd up couldn’t find a low mile Camaro, Charger or Challenger in my budget. The 5.7 Hemis are closer, or a 5th gen SS. I hope to trade the G in a year or 2 for one of the 3 V8s, fam wants a 4 door so Charger is looking real good unless I get lucky on a CTS-V2 for cheap, yeah right.

Man I picked a charger R/T over a mustang didn't even care to go look at mustangs got the 5 speed just not a ford guy or a Chevrolet guy and I got a dodge journey already so yeah had to keep it DODGE and know my R/T Black top will beat on some of those mustang's bought my R/T about a month ago had headers already BLACK on BLACK car coming through presidential shit tents on the whip so dark can't see who riding in that b*tch that be my ride at night lol for real though y'all know that rap song

They cheap now. Hell the rims cost more than the vehicle. About to pick one up and throw some 6s on it. The 2nd generation is pretty cheap to now.

He's making 85 more horsepower than you, he weighs almost 700 lbs. less, and his final drive ratio is 3:73 to your 3:09 (Dodge's weenie gearing is downright embarrassing). Those are pretty significant factors. If he DIDN'T beat you, something is dead wrong. I freed up my exhaust by deleting the resonators and stock mufflers and adding a set of Super 10's, put on a set of good ZR rated tires, and use two other lesser known unnamed tricks (my secret weapons), and I have beaten some GT's (including a Track Pack), Camaro SS's, Scat Packs, et al., with my 2018 Charger RT. th-cam.com/users/shortswu_Zk-AWXyg?feature=share
