Beyond Musiq Records (BMR) is a NJ Based Spoken Soul and Hip Hop indie label dedicated to "makin' good musiq popular again." Headlining artists Chris Phoenix and Walkin Contradiction create high quality music from production to lyrical wordplay, providing an alternative to the corporate cardboard cut-outs disguised as artists flooding the airwaves. A firm believer in power of self-sufficiency, BMR writes, records, and produces music for themselves and others, designs their own websites, promotional materials, and album artwork, and also has an in-house live event production unit for professional photography, videography, and dj services. An independent enterprise in existence since 2006, Beyond Musiq Records hopes "Please Stop the Violence", latest release "Work It Out" and others will usher in the return of that feel good music ... where Hip Hop is once again the pulse of the people.
