I could not do this type of tie either as a sub or as the rigger. For me it's all about wrist position, any wrist in front tie is extremely dangerous for me because it causes instantaneous subdrop. Even if a wrist in front tie were attempted but never finished the same effect happens. Kind of unfortunate since it eliminates a lot of shibari ties I might have been able to enjoy being in otherwise.
