Praise the Lord! We are a group of Pentecostal believers who believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe in repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost evidenced by the speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance, and living a holy victorious lifestyle evidenced by the love that we have toward God and one another. Please feel welcome to worship with us.

Have You Received the Holy Ghost Since You Believed?
I would agree that many people have caused harm in the name of religion, but our Lord Jesus Christ is able to save His people from their sins. The remedy for those who abuse religion in order to harm and/or manipulate is “not silence” or a ceasing of the proclamation of the gospel. Instead, the remedy is to lift up and receive the gospel of Jesus Christ so that such wickedness is exposed and repented of.
religion causes nothing but harm.

Just one point here, well not so little, Jesus did NOT die on a cross but rather an upright stake (Grk Stauros) or upright pole ! Remember what the Bible says that we MUST worship God "with spirit and with TRUTH" !
Matthew ch 27 verse 42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him. I agree with your statement. The word “cross” that is used in Scripture means a pole to be placed in the ground and used for capital punishment. Our generalized post-modern 21st century concept of the “cross” is different than the concept of the cross 2,000 years ago. Using the word “cross” would not be an error unless we are associating it with the “t” shape that many have acknowledged it as. - Minister James M. Pope
