Testing the new revamped chuck box in the back of the rover as well as checking out the propane adapter for the Coleman stove. And using my modified scepter water can with a hand pump. Filmed using an old JVC GZ-130U Camcorder. Leftover equipment my kids used to learn photography while homeschooling in Alaska.

In the Chiricahua mountains on Forest Service Road 42C. Part 1 going up Downing Pass and finding lions mane mushrooms. Check out the thumbnail of the hand. The rock pillar it's on can be seen in part 2 near the mine. Part 2 will be checking out the old mine up near the pass.

The video starts part way up Middle march road. Traveling westward from Pierce to the pass and partway down towards Tombstone. A little hard to see but there are numerous turnouts for camping along the way.

Used my rover and warn M8000 winch to take out a dead tree. A little slow but does a fine job in the end even pulling the stump out of the hole.

Spent a little time fooling around with Mora Knives and a fero rod. Alaskan birch bark lights up like it is soaked in gasoline.

I just bought a M6000 that I want to install on my '54 CJ3B. Is there a good source for rebuilding? A kit and/or a video any know about?

Herm the overdrive guy sells a rebuild kit for them and he also rebuilds them
I rebuilt one a few years back, and put a forward/reverse motor on it, but never have put installed or put it in service. It is made really well.
I would be very interested in the part number and source for the 2 way motor. It sounds like a terrific upgrade.

Good luck finding a propane adapter for that Coleman liquid gas stove.

My winch motor shorted out. I have not been able to get it repaired.
Sorry Daniel, I don't know if motors are still available or not. That's why I purchased the second winch for parts.
@@jimmethven8074 You can still get a new motor in fact you can get one that runs both directions so it will spool out.

Search MHT-6101. Not sure if that's a reversing motor but it's a direct replacement.

Good eye, yes it is. It's hard to find them with all the external parts still intact. I would like to find a front-engine driven PTO winch over time. I'm very impressed with all the trucks in your group.
@@jimmethven8074 thank my friend..ive never seen any bellview winch in my country..but pto driven and crank driven winch ive seen some and i got one too on my truck.. 👍
@@MartopoSons I have another one in my shed with the cable controls. I will get it out and make a short video on what they look like in a few days. Up in Alaska, there were lots of them kicking around. Down in Arizona where I am now not so much. Good winches but they only power in. It can be tricky if the brake doesn't work on a hill.
