Let there be: a visual journey from darkness to light
A dark and viscous mass dwells in the void, unaware of its own identity. It rages, roars and rumbles, spitting out clouds of smoke and fire for eons. It suffers in confusion, it knows no order, it has no limits, but in this shapeless existence, a life has no value. As it plunges into the whirlpools of despair, it seeks a way to find meaning and purpose through connection.
The story is divided into these phases:
1. Chaos
2. The Conflict of Opposites
3. The Emergence of Structure
4. Realization

Shut the Door. Have a Seat - Draper & Cooper scene
มุมมอง 1.2M13 ปีที่แล้ว
One of my favorite scenes in Mad Men.
"And you old men love building golden tombs and sealing the rest of us in with you." Fuck me, what a line.
When Harry pulled the “you WERE me” schtick on Bert later he flatly rejects while being very receptive to Don’s comparison. He truly did hate Harry.
On their own the graphics are exceptional of course. I can also see that effort was put into making the scenes flow, the effect of which is commendable: if slightly futile. The issue with our current prompt based generators is that there is a lack of memory of what has happened previously. Therefore it struggles to form scenes which blend well together. You did well to avoid these limitations as best you could and made what seems to be a very genuine and perhaps personal short film.
Thank you. That is a very accurate take on how I felt during the process of generating the imagery. You're absolutely right - maintaining visual consistency is possible (but far from accurate) and it is very difficult to attain due to the memory issues you pointed out. That's where the editing helped out. I focused a lot on the movement/choreography of elements to tell the story I wanted to tell. One of the main themes was to show a transformative process. I truly hope these tools will get better with time where it would be easier to attain a visual consistency.
Great man
Thank you 🙏
This looks so mind blowing 😮 Hope u upload more vids like this It be great if u do a tutorial as well 😄
Thank you for your kind words. And yes, that's the plan. If time allows :)
0:46 I love this exchange. It’s like my young self fighting with my old self.
Everybody is talking about Cooper and his wisdom. And while I share the opinions, I'd like to point out something else in this scene: his line of not having the rest of his life to rebuild his fortune. I really love the sentence, simply because it says so much: First, he might be considering Don's words more if he were younger and had the time to fail. We, younger people, are often afraid to lose what we gained by hard work, not realizing that we still have time to get those things back. Second: It conveys the obvious part of business - no risk, no gain. When you're young, risk a bit. Be smart about it, but take risks if you want significant pay-off. If you don't, don't expect to build anything big. Now that I've come to realize this in my own life, it's time I started following this advice... It's quite hard for me to imagine that I would scrap everything by making the wrong choice and start over again. But at least, I still got some time, so I better do something about it.
Bert was a great character in the early seasons, he had a mystique teasing Don about behind the scenes at upper rungs of power. The later seasons ruined his character making him into comic relief.
…
VUDU/Fandago has this entire series available for $25 USD
A Rothko
Don is so full of crap here..He wants to work today..But some days he just blows everything off because he doesn’t feel like it..That’s why Bert didn’t take him serious here..He never felt Don was 100% committed to the grind..
I'm really glad that the pixels in this scene both get along so well.
I know everyone seems to be on Bert’s dick here, but I agree with Don. I’d rather go down swinging with my own than sell out to a bunch of leeches..
Bert was right about Don not having the stomach for the realities of that business. He left the room in a huff when Pete suggested that they hoe Joan out to the Jaguar guy, and they took a vote without him.
Love this scene and you can understand both views. Draper as the hungry younger man who has yet to build something and make his fortune. And Cooper who is now aging and has built something and doesn't see any incentive to risk it all by spending his fortune on re-purchasing and basically starting all over again.
Animation employees be like
Don didn't take his shoes off. A no-no in Bert's office
Jon Hamm's delivery is goated
It's funny how he bashes the accountants for trying to turn $1.00 into $1.10 and yet when Lane Pryce dies that is the turning point. That is when the business slowly starts collapsing.
Don will all why's be in my ❤️
Jon Hamm should have been casted in so many other movies after and during MadMen. He’s had plenty of odd/funny small roles but that man can act!
The problem seems to be that he is white in a "diverse" era, his type is simply not in fashion today
@@amateur_football9751 - yeah and to me that’s just stupid, but whatever!
@@amateur_football9751True.
@@amateur_football9751 ...wat? White men are not banned from casting wtf are you talking about lol?
I thought Don didn’t have a contract
He didn’t for a long time.....but had to sign one eventually.
This is the moment Sterling Cooper became Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce
"Because I'm sick of being batted around like a ping pong ball. Who the hell is in charge? A bunch of accountants trying to make a dollar into a dollar ten? I wanna work!" That hits different.
It's pretty the lament of every person employed by a corporation.
"That hits different", everyone on TH-cam says that bullshit. Don't recycle other youtubers words and then recycle "That hits different". That hits you as unoriginal.
@@TheLAKERSareGodsTeam Learn: "Common expressions". Fucking clown
@@TheLAKERSareGodsTeam honestly this hit different
@@TheLAKERSareGodsTeam Who hurt you?
RIP Robert Morse 5/18/1931 - 4/20/2022 . Tremendous actor.
I hated to hear about that. He made Mad Men for me.
Bert was always telling Don he didn’t have the stomach for anything requiring business acumen (P&G, Pete Campbell, the list goes on).
Don wipes the smile off his face with the “golden tombs” line.
and put him directly on his heels with "You're right, I'll let you go back to sleep." young, brash Don was very sassy
Exactly. Don is one of the few people who can actually hurt Burt Cooper.
God I miss this show.
Burt made a point. He's an old man and he knows it. This is no time to start investing his money instead of enjoying it.
Shut da fuck up, Cooper and Fort Meade. How about dat?
Accountants turning a buck into a buck ten is basically driving the private equity acquisitions of today. Happens all the time now.
Bert was pure genius.
Don Draper
Best moment in the whole show. then they fucked it up by selling out again.
10% on $1 isn’t bad, my man.
“I wanna work,I wanna build something of my own, how do you not understand that” Ima use that line on my next job interview
Turns out Don only has the stomach for the start of things.
God this show is so great
This is really the turning point from the dry early seasons to the exciting later ones.
Don never had the makings of a varsity athlete
“I want to work!”
Too bad when Don later in the scenes realized how hard it is to run a company when was given to run it like Bert did. Don never said again to ask to run it as a CEO as Bert. He just wanted to sell ideas. Because he had fun and was very good at it. Even if it costed his marriage, twice.
I know Mad Men is unreplaceble, is any series of the same style worth to watch? Please guys any help is welcome
What does Muhammad and Michael have in common? They are both pedophiles. #happpyhalloween #nyc #gtav

What does Muhammad and Michael Jackson have in common? They are both pedophiles. Hahahahahahhaahahahahahahahahahahahahaha They locked up John Gotti, but not Michael Jackson. Think about it.
Season 3, Episode 13
I see both dons and coopers side a perfect example of the pros and cons of the young vs old Bert may be wiser but lacked the risk and passion Don had which people lose in old age Roger and Bert and many other characters lack what Don has because one has the inheritance and is set and one has been set for 40 years. People who’ve come from unfortunate/humble circumstances and have had to build themselves naturally have that fight in them so I relate to both. I understand Berts wise ness and looking at all sides and Dons passion due to having to work for what he has.
Bert best character
