I’ve heard others believe Ursula should be Greek (no idea, because Hans Christian Anderson was Danish). Also, based on the names of the other animals, Scar’s native language should be Swahili. And Facilier’s native language should be Louisiana French. This was early 20th century Louisiana. They still spoke French.

I don’t really know if The Little Mermaid should be Danish or not. Because the original book were from Denmark but if you take a look at the ocean in the movie it looks more like the Mediterranean Sea so they would like sing in Greek or something like that probably. But yeah you could probably say both according to what you base it on.
