I found it interesting that Verna referred to what she did as her "job". Seemed pretty recreational to me.😊 Did she have a purpose before coming topside? Does such an entity need a purpose?🤔 LOL! Obviously her name is an anagram of Raven. The Raven symbolizes death, doom and demise in many of Poe's work. In the show she actually tells you who she is. When Prospero asked she says "Consequence". And that's it. She spoke the truth and explained what she is with a simple word for us the audience to grasp the larger concept. Actions have consequences. The consequence of the choices and actions of the Ushers is their demise. They had the choice to do good or to do bad, she gives them an honest conversation at the end. She doesn't have evil motives, it's more like karma, and with the Ushers she's just doing her job. To quote the actress wo played her: "Verna is an executor of fate and karma".

Mance Ryder liked Jon because he could se that he was an honest man that was gonna keep his promises. Therefore he trusted him already from the beginning. As soon as Jon put an arrow in his chest so he wouldn't be suffering he knew that Jon would keep his promises to the wildlings. Thormund saw that also and he loved Jon already when he first meet him and he was standing with his side all the time to come. He really became a true friend to Jon.

Dany being late to the meeting is a very subtle call bs k to season 1, when she first met Drogo, Madyer Illyrio (I think that’s right) told her and Viserys “Dothraki aren’t know for their punctuality” Not the first bit of Dothraki culture she carries with her (Her hair braids for battles won)

this season really just shows how bad the writing becomes... the winterfell storyline is so dumb and forced. we as viewers anyone who's actually paid attention knows Sansa and Arya's actions make no sense. D&D just manufactured and forced conflict between them for absolutely no reason, always frustrating to watch especially knowing their book characters. The way they watered down the Stark sister's development and actual character is sad.
