Raid On Bungeling Bay (C64)
มุมมอง 76ปีที่แล้ว
Raid On Bungeling Bay holds a special place in my heart as one of my all-time favorite games on the Commodore 64. As I start on this review, I must admit my bias for the game, given the countless hours I've spent immersed in its world. That said, I'll strive to provide an honest assessment of what makes this game truly remarkable. Developed by the iconic Will Wright and published by Broderbund ...

POKEing Around In Commodore BASIC - Ep 01 The Missing LOCATE/PLOT Statement
มุมมอง 342 ปีที่แล้ว
This is the first episode in a new series I'm doing on Commodore BASIC. I want to keep these videos short, and to the point. I hope to release a new episode every Friday. I hope you dig it, and share it with friends. I've put together a d64 disk image with a couple examples of using the PLOT function. The third example uses a subroutine to set the x,y for printing. You can grab the disk image h...

Gate of Thunder was developed by Red Company, and published by Hudson Soft in 1992. This is a solid shooter, and is worth the look for the music alone.

One Quarter One Play DeathSmiles Black
Whoa... This is awesome
It's even better than it looks here. I captured it at 30 fps, and it runs at 60, so some of the graphics don't look as good in this video. I believe this was an official port by Namco.
You had wayyy too much fun making this!
It was a good time!!!!🤣😂🤣
I don't care what anyone says. Moon Patrol was fun as hell, for the time!
Omg the memories
Still at it buddy! Yeah!
The art on the box is about as good as this game got
Box art back then was truly art!
I absolutely LOVE the animations in this game! For example, when the enemy soldiers climb that cool-looking tall tank!
t-38s? where?
Down in Texas outside of San Antonio.
I think this is the T-38's last year in service, and then they will be phased out.
@@beardedsonofnelbeardedsono3877 You know I know this because I was stationed there, right? :) I was there and Witchita Falls, another training base.
Also, is this one of the first examples of a health bar? That looks unique for the time period.
I don't know it it was the first use of the health bar, but one of the earlier ones that I can think of.
LOL, I love how Rastan climbs the ropes. hhhhheeeeeeehehhehehehe
First time I played this game as a child, I was sick at home with a flu. All that spinning, bobby (and blobby germ-looking) enemies, and fast action didn't help my nausea a bit, but I was hooked. Played it for hours that day...one of my favorites still, but everytime I play it...I get this phantom nausea feeling from the memory of that one day. Thanks for sharing this video, and sorry for my 'over-sharing', haha!
Where did you find that book? That's pretty cool, I know I'm super late to this.
It's been so long, I don't remember. Sorry :(
At one point it was a goal of mine to read every book in the game. I'm sure it's one of just scores of books that I would pick up, and read later when I was board.
@@beardedsonofnelbeardedsono3877 No Problem, I'll look it up. Yeah I've always thought that would be cool to do, for Skyrim and Oblivion. If you like game playthroughs I have some on my channel, come check them out and chat any time, Thanks for replying, have a good 2021!
