Geezers you guys did well iv been there in February the last 2 years and haven't caught a bloody thing hopefully that changes this weekend
G'day mate. February is always a harder then the cool months, need to change things up a bit. How did you go on your recent trip? Hopefully get back up there soon.
Years ago we used to fish Dartmouth a lot, were near the number 4 buoy, not catching anything, my brother in law had some worms, we were all trolling Red and Gold Celta's. He said I'm putting a worm on the trebles of the Celta, we laughed at him, he caught a nice trout in minutes then another, we said give us some of those worms. We caught fourteen trout one after the other, then went in for lunch. Never stopped catching them on the Celta's with worms from then on. Don't spread it around. ;)
Done a very similar thing with the tassies also. Especially if it gets quiet

G'day Mark. During the fishing comp we camp up in the 8 mile arm. No specific spot. Just where ever you can find a flat spot for a few tents. I have camped in the Dart arm and right up the Mitta arm passed Wombat creek. It's a awesome place to go.
Loved the Vid guys,cheers for sharing it! Love Dartmouth too, where do you guys camp? I've only ever camped in my boat, which is cool, but do you have land based spot?
