Why did you grind down the OD of the tool that contacts the seal?
Because my Diffs are the Recon diffs. The tubes are thicker so the standard dana 44 tool would not fit.

All numbers matched from the Vin tag to the trans. But it was a factory bench car and someone swapped in the buckets and shifter. Car sat in the barn since the 80s.
