Orville is that much more Trek that I almost can live with the fact than Federation is called now Union...

After watching dozens of reviews, recaps and discussions about the topic, I must say: The two of you just nail it! Really well done! I think if I should get to the point to "involve" sombody into the whole STD/Orville discussion, THIS comparison is what I'd choose to watch to hit it of. Both of you making good points - Cheryl in particular shares some great thoughts here, IMHO - while you seem to remain open and fair, having big knowledge about the stuff you talk about; I just loved to listen to your "show". And I'm not saying this, because I 100% agree with all you said - eventhough I must admit, I do with the most. ;-) One thing though: It seems to me that something went really wrong with audio in the intro/outro! It's WAY too loud and partially distorted - so much that I was about to move on to some other video, before the good part even began. Maybe this happens to other viewrs too and they miss your great work - which would be a shame! ;-) Anyway, thanks again and live long and prosper - I'll try to open that jar of pickles by myself now, to get rid of the taste of some "burned ham" in my mouth... :-D

Hi guys i love this interaction. My 13 teen year son and i looked at both and he asked me on star trek discovery to explain about what what was going on whereas on the orville he got it. Both are good shows depending on what you are looking for as for me and my family the Orville is more like the star trek we like. The visuals that is on the Orville are easier to see and the story lines i can explain to him so he can understand .

The Orville IS that good!
