Thank you for the video! On a side note, my HR-V is a 2022 and the battery died after only 2 years. I find this kinda odd as I've had cars where the battery has lasted longer than the alternator and that was 10+ years on my Malibu and Grand Am.

Quick question. Shouldn't the tire pressure sign go off automatically once you add air? Are we supposed to follow the calibration steps. Pls help!
In the case of the CR-V, the tire light will have to be manually reset. Filling the tires with air won’t make the tire light go off unless your specific vehicle has that capability…as of 2012 and newer, the CRV does not have that capability

You will need to recalibrate the tires by doing a master reset, but you won’t have to install a new TPMS system

I replace the battery as you instructed. It was so easy. One problem. The car does start and drive, but the screen says my anti-theft system needs to be enabled. It says to hold the power button for 2 seconds or more. However I've done that several times, and the message is still there. When it says power button is it talking about the ignition start a button. Or something else? How do you resolve the issue please.
When it says “the power button” it means the power button for the radio, not the engine. So, try holding down to radio/touch screen power button for +2 seconds and it should reset!
@@str8oil Thank you very much. I shut the car off at least three times (in the driveway, not while I was moving forward) holding the 'starter' button instead of the power button on the radio. After seeing your posting the next morning, I did what you instructed and everything is great.

My steering wheel doesn’t have a home button
Then try using the touchscreen on the dashboard. Fine “settings” and then “vehicle settings” and it should give you similar options
Great information I have a 2022 civic cvt soon need to change the fluid should I stick to oem or should I use valvolin or amsoil i heard they can give me better and longer results but some have told me to only use oem anyone can give me info is appreciated it?
I’ve always used OEM, but I’m confident any proper CVT fluid is okay…but if you’re questioning anything I would stick to OEM

No. To be honest, I’m not even sure what a CVT filter is…I worked on Hondas for +8 years, never heard of or seen one!

@@str8oil I guess I can't reply with the youtube link with the 10th gen cvt filters video. One was a cvt oil pan filter after the pan was removed. The other one was circular filter. I just can't find anything on it online or the owners manual. Not even the pdf service manual I found for the 11th gen had anything about it

Yes, but charging the battery may not fix the issue if you’re having trouble starting the car.

For the 2018 hybrid accord, the 12v battery is group 51 (not 57 or 51R) and it’s not the same as the regular Accord. Double check the battery size first before proceed with the steps. Great video BTW. Another thing I would add is put something plastic like terminal cover over the terminals as soon as connection wire is off to avoid accidental discharge
