Priest lake Group Snowmobiling
With Six people we go on another epic adventure in the mountains of Priest Lake. We send harder and I crash harder than in our last trip! Having six people made it much easier to cut paths up the slope.

Me and my Buddy go up into the mountains of Priest Lake Idaho for some early year sledding. With barely any snow at the base we were happily surprised to find plenty of snow and challenges on our way to the top. Good snow, good food, and even better sleds! What an epic trip to start the season.
Early Mt. Spokane Snowmobiling

Me and my Dad went snowmobiling up Mt. Spokane. Shocking amount of snow already, we are in for a good year. My new m8 was amazing!!! We damaged the skidoo 800 and didn't make it to the peak, but lunch was great and we got to play with our sleds for a bit.

Can't be looking at the tree. Like burandt says you go where you look. rocking the old iron, guessing someone wrapped that stainless pipe and it rusted.
Yeah, it was silly of me to look, and I was confused about the rust on the expansion chamber, but I think you’re right somebody wrapped it. Hopefully I can rid it of some rust when I fix it.

Sweet! We were up in the mountains across the lake from outlet Bay on Priest Lake due east. It’s a pretty fun spot.

Thank you! I appreciate the worry. It’s always on the first hill climb of the day that things go so poorly, next time I’ll try it on an easier hill, then get into the hard stuff.

Man that sucks about your tree incident!! I'd be sooooo pissed if that happened to me. The hood crack can be fixed by a body guy but the pipe.. ugh... those are near impossible to find anymore.
Yeah, it was a rough one! I’m actually super excited about the muffler. I’ve found a way to fix it that involves a little fabrication and heat science. 😁

Yes, the conditions were amazing! And hopefully we will actually camp up there soon! We plan to do a group snow caving camp out at some point this season.
You have one of the best sleds of its era in that M8... I'm actually picking one up this weekend as a spare. That's the sno pro so it has the height adjustable bars... get them all the way up and then you can stand up, stay neutral, but lean to one side and a touch of countersteer and it should sidehill easily. I used to lean hard and hook my inside foot as best I could against the seat, and if you stay on the throttle, it just keeps going. Awesome sled. I had a 2005 M7 years ago (bought new). Loved that thing.. never should have sold it. Awesome video, btw!

Thank you so much for the recommendation! I’ll definitely have to check it out. I will be going up to Priest Lake this weekend to get some footage of the mountains around outlet bay. Keep an eye out for that video. It should be out before Monday.

Eventually, my buddy lives a few hours away so we don’t get to work together on it much. But lots of progress has been made and an update will be soon
in principle, not that bad. the idea with the two outlets is pretty good. what i use in such cases are stainless steel pipe bends, with which one builds e.g. handrails for railings. this looks more coherent overall. you simply flex the angle you need. they are available in all diameters and bending radii. btw: is it streetlegal that loud?

Next time u take a clutch off a snowmobile, Get the original bolt, put some thread tape around it and put water into the hole and screw the bolt in and it will pop the clutch off the shaft. Using hydraulics without a special tool
