Aircraft Model - Sword 1/72 Fairey Gannet AEW.3 Part3/3 "Weathering~Finish"
มุมมอง 2.2K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
Finishing process of Sword 1/72 Gannet AEW.3. It took long time for weathering & drying varnish...I'll try to increase work pace from next model. The kit is very nice. Highly recommend if you like Gannet! - Pics on my blog - kurodeme4001.blog116.fc2.com/blog-date-202407.html #vms #gannet #sword #scalemodel #scalemodelling #royalnavy #airbrush #ガネット #プラモデル #エアブラシ

It's always so enjoyable to to open a new kit for the first time. Thanks for sharing 😊
Thank you for your comment! Yes, I think It's nice to try this kind of thing because you don't know what's inside until you open it. It's very fun😊
Glad things are improving enough to get you back to posting great videos. Keep it up!
Thank you very much for your warm comment. Now I'm back and going to do my best with fun!
Wow this looks good
Thank you!
@@vaportrails_scalemodelling where can I find this kit tho?
@@Supremmm2 You can easily find this kit, I think. Local hobby shop, amazon...anywhere.
Looking forward to seeing more (Airfix) builds shown. Great rhythm, very relaxing and enjoyable to watch.
Thank you for your nice comment. I'm very glad to hear that! I'd like to build more Airfix kits. It's fun to build them.
Congratulations with your first video. 👍
Thank you very much for your comment. Next video will be posted very soon!
Perfectly work, amazing result .
Thank you very much !
Excellent work!!! 🤩
Thank you very much! I love VMS!
Looks insane man! I finished my gannet about 2 weeks ago and can say didnt look any where near as good as yours. Love the oil weathering and salt effects they just add to the realism and make the model look so interesting. I have just got myself some oil paints so will defiently have to try on my next plane. If you dont mind me asking, what did you use to fill in any seem lines. I always seem to struggle to get a smooth finish, i am currently using revell plasto.
Thank you for your comment! I think oil paints will help you to add subtle nusances on your model. it's very fun! Unfortunately, I don't know much about Revell Plasto, but it's possible to get good result with any putty. The most important thing is that careful alignment, I mean, removing "unwished stepped surfaces" before glueing parts as much as possible. My favorite filler is Deluxe Materials' "Perfect Plastic Putty". kurodeme4001.blog116.fc2.com/blog-entry-611.html You can easily remove the excess with water. That means you can minimize damages of the parts caused by too much sanding. I hope I'll show you these process in next model. Take care!
@@vaportrails_scalemodelling Thanks for the reply I'll definitely look in to that putty and give it a go! Would love to see your videos include the building stage and cockpit assembly. Keep up the good vids man, Cheers.
Looks great with the decals. I'm currently on the building stage and having a bit of fitment issues with the wings.
I've had the same issue. You need to align the parts carefully before glueing. But, the kit is pretty good overall.
Looks great, in currently building this one as well! Was wondering what colour use used for the navigator seat area in the rear as I'm struggling to find good reference images?
Thank you for your comment! I think these pics of the interior will be your reference. www.flickr.com/photos/56270329@N08/16481981733 Take care!
@@vaportrails_scalemodelling oh awesome! Those are the exact photos I was going to use! Thank you for that!
@keyboard_monkey5945 No problem, glad to hear that! Good luck!
