Searching for months!? Do you own that much land or are you just building it on public land somewhere?
Pretty cool video. Glad I found your channel. Subscribed
Nice work, bud!
Put the rack on the highest level...and don't heat so high. 425⁰ was too hot.
200⁰ is like 350⁰ in your oven at home
Nice!
@@tenacity-ridge thank you! I’m super excited to be doing this finally. Been planning and pondering for years
@Jeep-Creep it's exciting! I need to finish mine up so I can start on another one!
@ heck ya! Checking your channel now. I’m loving your build
@@Jeep-Creep thanks!
Screen brightness fix. I have this car radio and it suffered with low screen brightness just as other people have complained about. It was difficult to read it in day light. Here is how I fixed my radio but please be aware that the circuitry might be different in your radio and I am not an electronics expert so I am unable to give any more guidance or answer questions. On the circuit board that is attached to the back of the front panel there is a microprocessor that is dedicated to driving LCD displays. On my radio it is a Holtek HT1621. Search the net for the data sheet of the microprocessor and have a read through it. On the HT1621, pin 8 - VLCD sets the voltage that is supplied to the LCD. A resistor connected between pin 8 and pin 9 - VDD is used to adjust the LCD voltage. The data sheet talks about using a 15k ohm resistor to supply the LCD with 4v if the supply voltage to the microprocessor is 5v. My radio had a slightly different configuration to that shown in the data sheet but I was able to adjust the value of the resistor to give a supply voltage of around 4v using a 32k ohm resistor. Before the modification the supply voltage was 3.2v. With a multimeter check the voltage by connecting the black -ve probe to the ground or -ve rail on the circuit board and connect the red +ve probe to pin 8. Depending on the circuit used in your radio you may need to try a few different resistor values to get the right voltage and screen brightness. Hope that helps and good luck.
I'm listening to your video on my Retio and Retio Lite 😂
@@PhillipReece it’s such a great sounding radio!
@Jeep-Creep to be honest, the radio function isn't great on mine but the Bluetooth sounds way better than I expected. Works flawlessly with the second speaker too.
@ making me wish I bought a second speaker

Oil wrench - 65mm diameter 14 sided. Part number 57001-1249 Drain plug - 10mm socket

@Jeep-Creep im willing to pay! Please 🙏 lol
@ what do you suppose is a good price for one of these. I can check to see what my material costs are
@@Jeep-Creep how long does it take to make it?

Very impressed with what you did. At first look, I admit I was laughing so hard I saw all those ants and rotted canvas, I had to watch to believe. I'm a believer now 😊

@@Jeep-Creep very inspiring that you didn't and a nice payoff!! ❤
@ yes for sure I’m hooked now too. I’m actually building a bigger one as we speak. It’s on my channel. Plan with this one is to be bc able to sleep 2, with a shower, and can haul my UTV

Very nice example for an outdoor heater/cooking. I don't really see the application for indoor heating as the title suggests. A very creative project and I'm glad I watched the video. Thanks 😊
@@lewchaney2138 I’ve used this stove in a cabin. I need to do a video showing how to pipe it to outside. Thank you for the view
You have the sire speed too fast so the heat doesn't penetrate and all you have there is cold, weak welds. I can weld exhaust pipes smooth as silk with one of those Harbor Freight flux core welders with it set right.

I just did this upgrade with a similar little air inflator. Works great! Way better and faster than pumping that damn handle and shooting out a dixie cup worth at a time. Thanks for posting!
@@MikeM-ld1rw I love this hack! It’s probably better and I know for sure cheaper than the electric pump version of this. I think the electric Flo n Go is li my e $100 more this is a $15 hack lol
How did you attach the basket to the pipe?
@@amypayjack6481 it fits around the pipe going into the burn chamber and is currently loosely being held up by the pipe for easier removal. It’s pretty firm wire
I don't do ANYTHING outside in the cold so this project will wait until its warm out or I make room in my garage to put it in 😂. If it is colder then 65° OH HELL NO!!
@@willschultz5452 oh yeah. I’m out there in the cold.
Do you need to change the title when converting a pop up to a hardside?
@@sarinaarms2865 I don’t think you need to. I could be wrong. Trailers in Michigan registration just shows length and weight. So it’s basically the same. I don’t think you need to reclassify it. If I’m wrong please correct me.

@@chito1761 thank you!
You haven’t posted what you have done with that lights on your new Bumper.. i’ve ordered the same bumper, and want to know how to use that spotlights ? Can i use it as Reverse light ? Or you have another bright idea ?
@@agilkazimov1970 I’m torn between using it as reverse lights or just spot lights. It got cold out so I’ve put it on hold a bit. Most likely I will tie it into the reverse lights. I will make a video when I do

@@shelbyGT40 no unfortunately not. I need to use a thicker rubber
You got the idea, and I have know how. Thanks for a great improvement idea 👍👍

That's awesome! I've been working on hard siding my pop up for a little while now and are wondering how I should insulate and wall in the interior? Is there something that I should use specifically or will dry wall work or will it break on transit? I'm also a videographer and editor too so if you're interested in having some help with some of these projects, either camera man, or video editor or whatever, lemme know!
@@iamjordank I wouldn’t use dry wall it might crack and crumble. You can use any material the easiest to paint is thin wood. They sell plastic vinyl sheets or fiberglass sheets that look like public restroom walls that are water proof and textured. You can use just about anything light weight. Stay away from rigid materials like ceramic tile or drywall. Where ya based out of? I’m in Mid-Michigan near Fenton. What kind of video editing software do you like? What kind of cameras and mics do you like? I’m looking into getting better equipment. Also a small popup, your biggest worry is weight. You need to make sure you are not over loading the axle. I personally like using 2x4s for a box frame all around and 1/2” sanded plywood. It’s smooth and if painted well will last forever. You really don’t need insulation on a small camper. It’s pretty easy to keep cool in summer and warm in winter.
@@Jeep-Creep I thought I replied but guess it didn't go through. I'm back and forth from NC to Northern OH. And it all depends on your budget, would love to connect and help out.
as in all your videos Luv the realistic approach without the worry of others. More approachable to the common person without the arsenal of pricey tools. living room workplace makes it achievable
@@RobRanson thank you! Yeah I work with the few tools I have and I am always budget conscious. I have a lot of less than perfect methods but it’s coming along nicely so far! Stay tuned I got a neat idea for that rear door next week.
Thanks for the video.
@@frank_III no problem. I am aiming for weekly releases. This one took a bit longer with all the dry times
What a really cute micro-tiny house. I especially like that kitchen corner and the fireplace, sweet. Is there room for two people in that thing? I would have kept the back and flip down pull out bed area. You need to be careful about the weight, the axles are not rated for much, and also look at the frame, it looked VERY rusted. You might like my 'almost-free solar-powered motorhome" build, where I build a tiny camper solar powered out of used refrigerators (great insulation), towed by an elected trike. My views were horrible on this project, guess it was not interesting!?
@@murraymadness4674 This one is more of a solo camper 1 person only. My brother has camped with me by sleeping on an air mattress perpendicular to my bed on the floor. The floor plan is only 6’x6’ so there isn’t a lot of room. I didn’t want a tent camper at all. Part of the major weight reduction was getting rid of the tent slide outs. They are very heavy. Camper weights 1660lbs well within the 2000lbs capacity. I have a 100watt panel that is plenty to keep my diesel heater running off grid as well as powering my DC lights and DC fridge. You can stay off grid a long time if you wanted too. Link me to your video sounds awesome. Also make sure you subscribe and turn on my notifications. I’m doing a new camper. Larger 8’x12’ and I am building it into a toyhauler camper from a free PopUp. Going to have a ramp, with a fold out roof for shade with deck too.
Hi, great video. I bought the same rack but lost (misplaced) the bolts to attach it to the rail. What’s the bolt size? Please
@@naderqaisieh1104 when I hit the hardware store next I will bring in a bolt and have them size it
Hi
Good video. I would explain that the C stands for common, because it is your common from your condensing unit and from your furnace going back to the thermostat base.
@@ivan-hidalgo thank you for the info
Half inch ply will still be really heavy for the wall, 3/8's would be the thickess you'd want without making it too top heavy and not max the light duty springs and axel out.
@@mrMacGoover I strongly considered going down to 3/8. I weighed the 1/2” 4x8 to be about 40lbs per sheet. I am keeping track of removed weight and added weight. I am hoping I keep everything within reason. I have I believe a 900lbs CCC cargo carrying Capacity. I will post all the weights

Isn't that double wall vacuum insulated cup? If it is it's going to take a very long time to heat up. It's designed to resist temperature change of the fluid inside. You should have just used a pot or single wall canteen / water bottle.
@@schlc77 you are most definitely right! I didn’t realize it was vacuum at the time.
That’s really cool! I’m building on myself. Just curious. Did you have to reclassify it with the dmv? Has hwy patrol ever bothered you? My trailer is already registered in my name just wondering if it needs to be reclassified.

Have you ever heard of anybody switching the canvases to a new mechanism? The one I got is a little beat up.
@ I haven’t heard of anyone switching the canvas. Originally I was going to steal parts from the good roof and put it on the bad. So yes I think you can switch the canvas. Is it going to be easy. Maybe not.
I have been wanting to convert one to fit in the back of a pickup with the fold outs dropping over the sides!! So basically removing the axle etc and turning it to fit in a pickup bed.!! You'd also have to shorten it up etc..
