Bagpipes is a truly awesome sound, my late grandfather on my mums side was Scottish and my family would have 1 or 2 bagpipes playing to see the new year in when I was a kid, it’s not just music you can hear I could feel it through the core of my body, it made me feel quite proud to be 1/4 Scottish.

Culturally speaking, there are three things that make a profound impact on my emotional state. The Scottish Pipe and Drums, the Maori Haka, and the up-tempo drum chants of the Northern American first nations.
