Hi, I would like to know if the Naples yellow and the Rose pale blush are opaque in color or would it be necessary to spend a little more with the artists line
this is a bit misleading, softer pencils don't go darker you can get the same values with an hb pencil it just takes longer and you have to press harder. happy drawing to everyone :)
The Pitt graphite Matt pencils are very different to regular graphite pencils. Their black leads allow for a much deeper tone which cannot be achieved by regular graphite pencils. And there is less glare/shine with the Pitt graphite Matt set. So no..you cannot get the same value with a HB pencil, no matter how many layers or how hard you press. :)
