It always blows my mind the random corners of the internet I see SoB: Hexcrawl pop up. Glad to hear it led to a dive into Youtubing. I'm on a similar quest of endlessly trying to organize my collection. My current thinking process for organizing the game is to break everything out as much as possible. So instead of trying to throw everything and the kitchen sink into one big pile, I've broken everything out by OtherWorld and Keywords, essentially every game is themed (Map tiles & Threats). I try to get everything setup before a game starts, which does cut down on the "Anything can happen!" part of the game, but makes it easier to gather all the components that I need beforehand.

Actually like the statue look to them, like a story about the heroes being told. Definitely a unique take

I have two sets of Dungeon Tiles I, one set of the 1 inch tiles, and one set of Town and Village I. I still need at least two more sets to pull this off. Oof...

Nice playthrough! I am waiting for my Ultimate copy to arrive. I think you are not using their original Walls, correct? As far I could seem, they are very tall and block the player's view. What is the height of the walls you are using? I will try to proxy them. Many thanks!

My FLGS takes in a lot of used games and sells their non-OEM organizing materials for super cheap. That's where I get a lot of my organizational containers - lure boxes, folio boxes, card storage, etc. The last game I organized was Aliens - Another Glorious Day in the Corps. Using a variety of containers I organized the whole thing into a single mid-sized tub for transport to cons and game store games. Then I take the original boxes, put them in a marked, sealed tub and store it long term in the garage. I'm working on getting Shadows of Brimstone organized now. What a nightmare!

You're not missing much with Space Hulk. I've had the first two versions and it's more impressive as art rather than a game.

This is a rather underwhelming enemy pack. These guys don't have anything special... they should have been part of the main set for their world.

Great video. I personally found the old west rival specialties stronger than the feudal japan ones. Some of the feudal japan ones are weak imo (though 3 or 4 are bonkers strong).

I agree on how much component management is arduous. I have been digitizing SOB. Character sheets incld tokens, conditons, gear/artifact cards, etc. Also made tables out of the depth carts, enemy threat cards, loot/scavenge cards, etc. Also player aids and a list of persistent towns. This has dramatically cut town on the fiddeliness and the number of physical components I have to deal with. Game play is much smoother. Plan on adding frontier town locations, growing dread and darkness tables next.

Just found your channel and going through all the content! I have swamps and vally of serpents and feel like I have plenty of cards, only short darkness and growing dread. I was thinking of grabbing the map pack and serpent me to finish the swamps. What card packs should I get to flesh out dark/growing dread?

Just bought City of the Ancients as a starter pack. Cant wait to play my first time!

Cool and nice video as always. What I would like to see, though, is the assembled miniatures. You can't tell a lot by just looking at those plain sprues. The video would have more value if it showed them already assembled. Keep'em coming!

Your unboxings are one of the 2 best SoB unboxings on TH-cam. 8 days with no new videos and I''m already missing. Maybe other than only unboxings, you could also start recording some product reviews which is something that we quite do not have for SoB expansions on TH-cam.

Why haven't we seen more reprints of original enemies, and why haven't the unique enemies from the mission packs (Serpentmen Shaman, Lost Army Generalissimo and Standard Bearer, etc.) been released in Thermal Plastic yet? And where the heck is our plastic Dark Stone Shaman? :)

I’m interested to know why the dicefest goody box map tiles didn’t have advanced encounters when previous promo map tiles have? (I love the flavor of advanced encounters matching the tile art).

They are small, I contacted them about an order and they were awesome to communicate with.

We've already seen Jacques Moreau, what about some of the other characters as either named henchmen/assistants or adversaries? Love the videos you've been putting out. The question I'd ask flying frogs is if there's plans for end game stuff at some point. Like past level 8 or a different way to jazz game for lvl 8 because when your gears maxed out and money means nothing to ya, all that's left is start over. Which I have no problems with. Always curious with future plans.

The frogs have an in house poster infrastructure. Have they ever thought of making poster size pre made maps for special adventures? Maybe an outdoor map as an example. Or a large Crimson Hand complex?

Thanks for sharing. Have they ever thought of a team of heroes or ability that could control the gates, be able to select the world to visit? A cool missions could emerge. I also assume no impact to time when going through gates.

I absolutely love the Lovecraftian enemies we've seen so far in SoB, especially The Ancient One and Feeders in the Dark. Any chance for the Crawling Chaos himself, Nyarlathotep, especially given his Egyptian connection via Nephren-Ka? 😉
