Patrina Balbuena, graduated from Queens College with the support of the SEEK Program in Spring 2024. During her time at SEEK she was a peer mentor, became a Chisholm Fellow and graduated with three majors (Biology, Sociology, and Chemistry) and tow minors (Cities & Social Medicine and Health Sciences).

The life of a higher ed opportunity programs director is busy and often unpredictable. We followed Director Blackman-Richards of the Queens College Percy E Sutton SEEK Program for a full day. Her day started out with 3 meetings and 3 check-ins on the calendar. It ended with 8 meetings and 6 check-ins. We were able to capture some of these moments.
