@@oldsynth Yes, he does! John Hurt as well as Eugene and Carolyn Shoemaker will be missed. 😢💔 Eugene died from a car accident while visiting an impact crater site in Australia on July 18, 1997, just two years after this documentary was aired.

Did you go to full power when launching, was the battery all the way forward and did you add any extra weight in the front?
I didn't add any weight but I did have battery all the way forward. About 80% throttle on launch 👍

CIS is continuous injection system; the K in K-jetronic is "Kontinuierlich", i.e. continuous. It's the "control pressure" which defines the mixture via the warm up regulator.

Also looking forward to the fuel pressure test video, i have a audi 100 turbo quattro that only starts when the metering plate is lifted. I suspect too high fuel pressure.

Beautiful sound from this synth. Is the dw8000 worth buying today in terms of maintenance? have you had any issues arise with yours?
Definitely get one mate. I bought an easy programmer for iit from America, which has been brilliant. The synth only needed the key contacts cleaning. No other issues tbh. It's such a great synth

I loved choaking on diesel fumes in the 80s 90s best times ever for British locomotives on freight as I could always hear a tractor coming from miles away as they was always loud and lively they was and still are one of the best loco's on British railways networks as there's still a good 100 of these bad boys still in existence either preserved or still active on network rail duties!!! Drs are selling some more off again plus a few choppers they will probably go to Harry needle the 37s to West Coast/ian Riley/Harry needle let's wait and see!!!😎
