Not a lot people know but dbz was being made at same as the book which led hundreds and I mean hundreds filler episode's which is why dbz kai was made to get rid of filler and bad writing for better plot and better pacing in fights. Hope I cleard that up.
@ZacharyLucas-n9s There has to be a way to monetize every comment that mentions DBZ Kai. There has to be. I’d have enough to retire on.
I went into it having seen alot from shorts, tiktok, reels. I knew how it ended, i knew half of the deaths, plot points and memes. I was told it was amazing. I got HBO (max is a dumb name) just to watch this show. I stopped watching halfway through season 1, it felt like a whole season pilot. Got back to it, slogged through 1, 2, and started to consider quitting at 3. When it got good at 4 i hated the thought of the ending. I'm now where Chris dies and Tony tells Carmela. I'm not finishing the show because I can feel the insane autofellatio the writer/writers are performing. It seems like they believed the hype or just wanted the show to end. I have so many annoying conversations ahead and this video prepared me for them. Thank you for being the one video that shows up when i typed "the sopranos ending sucked".
Thanks so much. That's what I'm here for. I wish another video had shown up when I typed that sentence long ago.
Sons of Anarchy is so crazy bad... The show looks like a low budget soap, with lots of bad action scenes randomly thrown in 😂
I actually really like this song!
Hey .he is entitled to his opinion.
Well
censorship is not the norm. this is just satire. there's plenty of satire still in existence.
Sopranos fans will call the “fuck” scene from the wire corny but will jerk the ending of the sopranos off like it was the best thing that happened on TV
Right?!
Met the guy irl, he's horribly unfunny. Like, good lord.
Ew why would you ever do that?
@theplebe6342 It was not deliberate lol
If you've ever been in a real dust storm, the storm on Lonesome Dove doesn't look nearly as unrealistic...
i fucking love Reverend Putty
Honestly, I'm the biggest Oz fan but had to leave this vid early due to all the ads. Don't be so thirsty with your monetization or else you will lose ppl who are otherwise interested.
@@jackmonroe5531 Yeah I’ll get right on that.
I'm pretty sure you're not the only one who thinks this movie is bad.Because there's this one TH-cam channel called End Credit Reviews and they made a video talking about why this movie is overrated.I'm talking about SkyFall if you want to know what i'm talking about
Hey plebe qustion have you watched the movies i know you don't want to wacth dbz again but there are better version that are actully good and i want review to see how view maybe be worse or maybe better or the same thought as before but just want you to wacth the version i grew up on it maybe not be the best but its. Damn better than the orignal.
I was pretty young when this TV show came out and I remember my Dad forced my brother, my sister and I to watch it, partly because he went to HS with Tommy Lee Jones, but also just because he loved the show. I think this was actually a replay of the show a couple years later, like in 1991. Anyway I thought for sure since he was forcing us to watch it that it was going to be really bad, so I begrudgingly sat in front of the TV and then slowly realized it was so good, I could not believe I was enjoying it so much and by the end it was one of the best things I had ever seen. Later I read all the books, and the TV-series is one of the rare times where it can live up to the book, almost never happens. My 2nd favorite Book in the series was Comanche Moon, I did not really like any of the other TV-series based on the books however, although they are not totally terrible, they just can't compare to Lonesome Dove.
Interestingly enough, I'm reading the book right now. Also interestingly enough, did it blow your mind when you found out Tommy Lee Jones was only about 40 in the miniseries? He's been old his entire career.
@@theplebe6342 yes he has looked old his whole life I guess, but it is pretty crazy. I mean he looks 54-64 in this series. My dad actually showed me his picture from his HS yearbook at Texas Military Institute and he looks actually young, basically unrecognizable. I guess he was a football star too. I think he looks that old or whatever because he actually does some of the things he is portraying (or at least used to) like riding horses and working on his farm. His hands and fingers are enormous, you can see it in some of his films, I especially remember it from the viet-nam war movie he was in "Heaven and Earth" from 1993, which is very good and sort of unknown now. The kind of hands you get from doing a lot of hard physical work, you can't really fake that.
@ It takes a certain kinda man and especially a certain kinda actor to have that look before his/her time. Though it does fascinate me that he looks older in Lonesome Dove than he did in Men in Black.
What do think about the movis and everyone needs to REAL job bichting and moaning about if its shit or peak just get fucking life even ones who agree.
Why the hell is your so moist GOD DAMN.😂
Kinda of like the greed ring of hell they figjt for money when no money to begin with.
On point as usual. I also love horror but this shit is boring af
China IL is the best at math!
I remember watching the whole moving being confused and curious “how is this gonna play out?” Only for none of my questions to be answered by the end of the movie. Its like someone on acid tried to write a horror movie and did no editing once they sobered up
Can’t wait for the rest of this series
Totally disagree.
8:30 you took the words right out of my mouth as guy who loves this show…. This is the main problem I have with the Sopranos fan base they will often try to tell me that the Sopranos has a better ending than the Wire, Breaking Bad or Shogun and it’s so frustrating …. When they gaslight me by saying “you just don’t get it life doesn’t work that way” like tf … I’m fine with things being left to interpretation like in Shogun’s ending or the brief case at the end of pulp fiction but all of those products have build up and payoff to all MAJOR storylines which is something Sopranos fails to deliver, great video…also why does HBO botch their endings a lot for their most profitable shows
Can’t wait to see this series Plebe
@@manwithnoplan5496 Thank you!

@@manwithnoplan5496 I legitimately liked No Time to Die.
Story of my life
you missed the basic point the show was built on: human beings can do despicable things but they are still human beings. you can't get away from your humanity even if you behave like a monster all day long. schillinger is still a human being as much as you and me. that might be hard to take or accept but it is also a simple fact. we are capable of doing what he does given his history and conditions. you have to be a monster to survive in those conditions, any sympathetic character would become a joke in there and that show in the unbridgeable gap between the administrations and the inmates. therapy or soul searching is meaningless in those conditions. it is hell and there cannot be "innocents" in the hell. everyone is guilty but they are not in the prison for the crimes they were convicted of, as said said in one episode. the inmates' brutality, selfishness and hypocrisy is just an extension and reflection of the whole society. the "unrealistic" parts of the show don't really matter because in a fiction you'd want to make the conflicts and relationships more intense to make your point. it is not a documentary and a documentary cannot show you "reality": reality is not what is actual, visible or statistically accurate, reality is the hidden rule everything is built upon. oz is america and the world.
Facts. Its literally just lazy writing. People just love the show and desperately grasp for straws on why the ending is anything besides a complete dumpster fire. I love the sopranos, i love every little piece of dialogue, every episode, everything about the show was a 10/10, and then we just get a weird rushed ending that ties NOTHIN up whatsoever.
@@Gabe_itch_916 that’s what I’m saying, as a whole the show was really good.
Still never watched opie death
It must be odd to be introduced to Verne Shillinger AFTER being introduced to J. Jonah Jameson.
As i say to people all the time, READ THE BOOKS
I enjoyed him in his role as Bond.
Banned
Skill issue lmao
I always remembered it and sought out copies of it. In 2008 i found bootleg DVDs
Just watched the sopranos in 2025 and had no spoilers.. Aways seen it on the list of best shows ever. Immediately came online to see what people thought of the ending. Couldn't agree more, it's terrible 😂
I've seen every episode!!!!! LOVE JAX!!!!!! I joined a motorcycle club after having a motorcycle license for over 20 years! First rule: No shorts 2nd rule: Must wear boots everytime you ride!!
It's okay to be wrong Plebe
Happens to the best of us
disagree
Well since you ask, there two reasons, why I enjoyed that movie first is from the beginning of the series, all I saw was wacky stuff from a 60s movie then 70s movie and so on and so forth so my expectations was always low, even lower knowing that this movie was hated on release and second since I wanted to come to this material the james bond franchise with all the respect it should have so it’s really a: I don’t question anything because it’s a old movie from franchise my father loved
I have no idea what the end of this sentence means.
This is the bond movie which is closest to fleming novels...
In the novels James Bond couldn't emote and the fight scenes were described badly?
@theplebe6342 well i red the novels 25y ago..but the description, the production design including the described clothes in the novel are in the film. Perer hunt wanted to stay close to the book..
@@Laurent-u5w In novel and in the film, Bond is not relatively young, vulnerable and infinite, but a mature man with experience, like the actors to the other roles. Connery in ''You Only Live Twice'' is the character of Bond here. An agent tired of his job, finds happiness in love and marriage. Peter Hunt should not have stayed so close to the book. Bond and Blofeld met in the previous film.
@@ΜακηςΛ-ε5ρ yes maybe you are right..byt i like to movie because it is so close of action movie of 80 more than 20y in advsnce..this bond makes a lot of mistake and save the situation by physical action. Thjs is trademark of 80s action movies.
episode when tom, goes to a coworker and called the guy "u reek like a effin dumpster" . (im from chile sorry for my english)
Worse than Moonraker, Golden Gun, Never Say Never Again, A View to a Kill, Licence to Kill, and Quantum of Solace? Pull the other one.
@@Cursed_Mark yes worse than all of those. License to Kill is an actual good movie.
thank you i been saying this movie is dog shit since it's came out i don't know why people say it's one the best bond movies... maybe bc all the key jangling and self referencing stuff
This video merely proves that the plebe has bad taste
How do you get your monocle to stay on your face?
Although Lazenby received much support from Broccoli and Saltzman, he had a less easy ride from the board of United Artists who were none too keen to see him take over the mantle of Bond. On 7 July 1968, test footage of Lazenby and Rigg had been sent to United Artists in New York - and the were less than impressed by what they saw. On 23 September 1968, UA's head man David Picker even flew into London, desperate to tempt Connery back into the fold. But Connery was adamant that he wasn't coming back - EON and UA had made him a star and Connery was now a major player, capable of picking only the roles that interested him. And at this moment, Bond simply didn't interest him at all. It was only reluctantly that UA accepted EON's recommendation that Lazenby be given the part (ΜΙ6 Production Notes - On Her Majesty's Secret Service).
Part of Connery interview in Playboy November 1965 PLAYBOY: In any case, ''Dr. No'' turned out to be a hit, and you found yourself under contract for a series ... exactly what you said you wanted to avoid. CONNERY: Yes ... but it allows me to make other films, and I have only two more Bonds to do. PLAYBOY: Which ones? CONNERY: ''On Her Majesty's Secret Service'' and possibly ''You Only Live Twice''. They would like to start ''On Her Majesty's Secret Service'' in Switzerland in January (1966), but I'm not sure I'll be free in time and I don't want to rush it, although they say the snow will be at its best then. I'm not going to rush anything anymore. PLAYBOY: We'll be looking forward to both films ... especially since we were fortunate enough to serialize both books exclusively prior to their hardcover publication. Do you think the success of the series will continue to snowball? CONNERY: Well, it's a healthy market and it has been maintained because each succeeding film has got bigger and the gimmicks trickier. But we have to be careful where we go next, because I think with ''Thunderball'' we've reached the limit as far as size and gimmicks are concerned. In ''Thunderball'' we have Bond underwater for about 40 percent of the time, and there is a love scene underwater, and attacks by aquaparas from the sky, and two-man submarines under the sea, and Bond is menaced by sharks. Instead of the Aston Martin we have a hydrofoil disguised as a cabin cruiser, and Bond escapes with a self-propelling jet set attached to his back. So all the gimmicks now have been done. And they are expected. What is needed now is a change of course ... more attention to character and better dialogue.
They didn't bring back Connery Because lazenby was so bad , They brought Connery back because lazenby refused to come back , The film company only went back to Connery because Roger Moore had resigned to do the saint ,They didn't really want Connery back for diamonds, because one of the reasons he left was over money ,the studio had to give into Connery's wage demands
Moore in 1970-1971 did ''The Persuaders''. ''Diamonds Are Forever'' and ''You Only Live Twice'' were more successful than O.H.M.S.S. so Broccoli and Saltzman tried to convince Connery to return in ''Live and Let Die'', but he declined.
I mention this later on in the video.
Actually Roger Moore was filming the TV series The Persuaders with Tony Curtis before being signed to play Bond.
Thank you for excellently substantiated take down explaining why OHMS is so bad.
Pauvre raté de Raphaël 😔😔
