I love CRTs too but no. That monitor is 4:3 so any game in 16:9 is gonna have the image cut off on the sides which can obstruct the UI

Hahaha. No 😐. While your setup is fine it’s not a solid investment over time, with it running into issues. My suggestion is to look at upgrading but for the time being it’s perfectly good

Considering the first 120hz monitor came out in 2009 I think you’re mistaken My tvs are all 120hz, same with phone, tablet, gaming monitor, even MacBook The only thing that isn’t is my smart fridge and smartwatch And other important things like OLED and MiniLED becoming mainstream to get rid of that sickening grey background on black images I think the tandem OLED in the new iPad Pro is the first “perfect” monitor (for non gaming purposes) cause it’s 120hz, got the deep blacks of OLED, but also the brightness of miniLED (OLED panels larger than about are phone screen are extremely difficult to mass produce which is why OLED laptops and desktop monitors are all so dim compared to miniLED) And even then the iPad Pro Display probably isn’t the best for gaming
