Браво! I have Maurice Andre's recording from the 1970s. This is much better.
Another Van Laar Oiram Quartertone horn player! Pretty rare horns and beautiful playing!
well done.
Such clarity
Very beautiful! Doing a little research as I'm being asked to perform the first movement at a seminary service. Interested to know what horn you were using here. Hard to tell from this perspective, is that a picc?
Also, just wondering becuase I'm deciding the possibility of playing this on D trumpet, and it almost looks like that's what you're playing, but the timbre in the high register makes me think you're playing a picc. Happy to know either way. You played this wonderfully!
Miro é um gênio!
Miro, you need to post more Bulgarian folk jazz.
Beautiful performance. Sweet trumpet.
❤
❤
Ottima interpretazione in connubio.Musica celestiale...Grieg.❤
Beautiful
Great music
As good a performance as I've ever heard of this wonderful peace. Thank you for making this available to us!
Wonderful!! I admire your sound and expression!
🌸🌸🌸❤
Absolute greate !
Wonderful. Love your singing on the trumpet. ❤️
Thanks very much!
Wow, love the first trumpet and band entry with that tricky time. Love the voices too. The classical sounding trumpet infused with bending of notes is super, Miles taken to extremes. Then from 4.00 a jazz trumpet emerges. In awe!
I love The Luck of Roaring Camp by Bret Hart.
Nice
Beautiful!
You’re a Miraculous trumpeter… in all kind of ways… it’s yesterday that I heard your solos of Mahler 9th (Elbphilharmonie) and now this awesome Bulgarian Folkmusic… incredible! Take care and see you in the Concertgebouw
One of the world's greatest trumpet talents and an even nicer guy to top it off!!
Thank you for the nice words!
I listened to this many years when I was reading James Hilton's "Lost Horizon," so henceforth I have always identified this piece with that book.
I gotta read that book too then
Miro!! You are my best trumpter!!! I love your your music, your sound!! And any good our time in Germany❣️
Thats so lovely, thank you! Hope to see you soon
I say just bravo! I am looking forward to your ensemble on live after this pandemic ☺️
Thank you! Im looking forward to it too:)
Miro, you are perfection.
Photoshop does miracles
Anybody else get that thing where you watch this and simultaneously want to pick up the trumpet and practice more, but also just quit?
why would you want to quit if you can just aspire to sound like him :)
Don’t quit please!
Keep playing this kind of music. It’s very interesting! Some Maalouf colors but with a very personal personality. Brava !!!
Lovely sound Miro, may I send you a free copy of my Gypsy Trumpeter in New Orleans to try? Are you playing a C Trumpet?

Hi Miro - I'm an ex-Jazz & Legit player who played in the NTSU 1-O'clock Lab Band and had a professional career in Dallas and San Francisco. I live in Sofia now and am super impressed with your abilities. I understand the Gypsy phrasing (american tpt players could never cope with the style, including me ;) but can also really hear the MilesD influence... ;) Thanks for these posts...!
Hey, thanks! Hope to see you in Sofia some day then!
Grande Miro
Danke Werni!!!!
Is the part available somewhere? I'd love to play that tune!
