Very informative repair video. Lots of repair videos on your channel, are you up for a collaboration? Hipa supplies parts for small engines and maybe we would work together to help more people in the community.
Gr8 rebuild bro - did you find out the cause of the issue? Got a DT 125 with same engine.
Bigger the glob, better the job
Definitely might work but definitely won’t last long if you rip on her.
Yamabond 4 is your friend--after dereasing it and letting it dry before putting oil to it.
Are you sure that's not an oil channel?
I would just take it out and put a little weld in the gouge and grind it or mill it back to factory. It’s just gonna keep failing with heat
Common problem: hackers and gougers!
Most crank seals tell you to Put them in dry. Reason for that is if you use a lubricant or in this case gasket maker- it creates a hydrolock situation and prohibits the seal from seating completely which will likely lead to premature failure and inevitable leaks..
R.t.v.... no biggie
rtv ftw
Send it
If ya can't afford to do it right, find something else to do. My mum said, "What ever you do, do it right!" And this ain't right.
jb weld easy fill in job
be sure to clean it well before doing anything tho!
legit seal it with cold weld (jb weld) sand it with an 800 grit sandpaper and a socket with a little tape to keep it on the socket, then polish it with a 2000 grit the same way. only need tape from socket to sandpaper then wrap the sandpaper around the socket so it will spin likewise. good luck my friend
JB weld is yelling at you.
agreed! then sand and polish with a high grit sandpaper
I dont wanna fix it right. Gonna haunt this mans dreams😂
Fingers crossed for ya buddy
if anything put on the seal before not the case......good way to get rtv in the bearing.
At the bottom of the water pump there is a drain bolt just undo that and open the cap!
Ya ok bid
That corrosion is going to grow and will create the same problem again, the dimple needs to be on the back side not the split side.
I have one that matches like that one
Uhhh sir you had the connector upside-down 😂
You spent too much money on your wire strippers all you need is a simple pair with a divot in the middle to press down in the middle of the wire so that the thing is positively locked I've seen that pair right there that you're using not get the wires crimped properly and fall off
Cut the wire back to get of the corrosion and use a weatherproof connector and crimps it on. Then, use a lighter or torch to melt the shrink tubing.
Should clean that corrosion
Cut it back to the shiny metal or clean it off with cable clean or a wire brush or wire wheel or file or knife. Then put copper no lock on it or buy a new cable.
You get what you pay for. Corrosion terminals are always the cheap shit
Wire goes in the colored side. No way. Lmfao.
Cut it back more, look how corroded that cable is 😫
You gotta have the yellow plastic melt somehow
@@TinyTim-s3t That's not a heatshrink, it stays like this
@@dave161141 it’s called sarcasm from the wire overheating from being so corroded..
@@TinyTim-s3t sorry, didn't catch that 😑
Use two vise grips not rocket science
Next time you change the battery, put a few drops of oil on the terminals. That won’t happen again.
It ain't got no gas in it.
Pointless, stupid video
New battery, a pillow for the seat then start checking the electrical, then spark the gas carburetor
I'm glad you made a whole video just to show it do nothing
If you're gonna cut the cable, at least solder it instead of crimp
Wow I want to cut the bolt not the wire😮
Cut the bolt off not the cable.
Quality Vice Grips are the ultimate crimpers.
I wish I ate crayons like you guys
I work in the trades there are too many people on TH-cam talking about their imaginary shop and their imaginary crew that they would fire somebody off of shut up none of you own or have shit. That’s why you’re on here leaving negative comments be blessed guys like us post the work we do cause u know damn well everyone and there momma runs to TH-cam to fix anything and it’s only because of tradesmen recording and posting there work
Isn't that ring to keep the gasket from blowing out the side? Unless it doesn't see much pressure?
I really dont see anything wrong with it depending on how it mates to the other surface all yall saying he fucked up do realize the gaskets going to seal it either way
The ridge is there in case it's not perfectly flat. It's a lot easier to ensure that ring will make uniform contact with the gasket than the entire surface. A lot of thermostat housings have an O-Ring and groove in them.
Now you f ed that up. You've seen that ring before you took it to the sandpaper is there for a reason. You would be fired from my shop for doing stupid crap like that
Lmao shutup I never understand guys like you on TH-cam you don’t have a damn shop or employees so relax all these keyboard warriors threatening to fire working people off there imaginary crews no more working for ur imaginary shop lmao relax buddy the ring is probably there for a reason but I’m sick of seeing this comment if you were in my shop ……. You don’t have one .
wow, doing all that on that nice toolbox! I can’t believe it!
Ever heard of a gasket?
Stick to tinting windows pal
