VW Atlas Camber Correcting Lift Kit

The owners of B2BFAB developed the first lift kit in 2016 for the MQB platform (MQB = shared chassis for Atlas, Tiguan, Alltrack, Taos, Golf, Jetta, Audi A3, Q3, and more). The initial kit was a simple bolt through front spacer design and resulted in less than ideal alignment specs, which made for less than ideal handling and tire wear. Both were issues that needed to be addressed. Over the next five years, we tested numerous prototypes and worked to perfect a design that checked all of the boxes.
For the Atlas and the majority of road-going vehicles, a small amount of negative camber is dialed into the front and rear suspension to offer proper handling. When an Atlas is lifted with a bolt through spacer lift kit or spring lift the negative camber of the front wheels is reduced or removed. With no camber adjustment present on the front suspension components, zero camber or even positive camber is unavoidable with bolt through lift spacers or spring lifts.
By offsetting the upper mounting point of the front struts, our lift kit removes the excessive positive camber allowing proper suspension geometry and specifications.

What setup did you use to lower the red one? Looks like coil overs because of the perfect fit with the wheels.

The VR6 engine has a great sound that rivals some sports cars. With no drone in the cabin, it's a win-win for an enthusiast that would like their Atlas to sound like an R32 rather than a Tesla.

U can go to any exhaust shop for 100 bucks and have a straight pipe welded in....not to mention if you have any warranty it completely voids it 100%
The Wookiepipe does not void any warranty and is fully reversible with the use of our Back to Stock Clamp. That is the huge benefit over making a permanent modification at a muffler shop.

Did you have to deal with any check engine lights after resonator delete?
Not at all! None of the emissions components are affected with this upgrade. It just offers a better sound and slightly improved performance.

Personally I wouldn’t do it. But I like the look of the lowed one. We’ll my wife wouldn’t let me lower her Atlas.
Our lift kit and a set of tires offer some real benefits in the practicality department. We find that is always the best angle to sell a reluctant spouse on upgrades.

Great video! I'm starting to think my next daily driver in the coming years will be an Alltrack and I want to do similar. Getting tired of the low life, so many places I want to go explore that I can't drive to with my current lowered GTI. Looks like your kit is the one to have with proper camber correction and axel spacers and such available!
