when we do MSC we usually park at the downtown pier. we have 2 upcoming cruises on the Seaside in September and October and look forward to seeing where we park. in 4 cruises we finally will be Diamond with them. around march next year. we cruised Carnival 60 times and 5 coming up but we will book only MSC for the price and deals they give us .

We have cruised Alaska many times on various cruises even though Glacier Bay is still impressive it is nowhere near as impressive as it was. We will be there again next year but it is a little bit of a let down from times we have been there in the past. Alaska is still our favorite place to cruise.

The Holland America ships - Eurodam, Westerdam, that use Seattle as their summer Alaska cruise season port are really quite nice. We were on Westerdam in late August, 2022. They aren't as large as Princess, or those massive Royal Caribbean ships, but their mid-size makes them less crowded and stressful.

Glacier Bay is absolutely magnificent. You are correct - pictures/videos do not show the true beauty.

Some nice information and scenery. We have been on Crown Princess in July but we missed the Glacier bay unfortunately.

My husband and I will be on this Cruise in September. Got a email saying Juneau will be from 2pm to 10pm. Ketchikan was dropped and added Icy Straight Point. We did get our money back for the Ketchikan excursion we had booked.
