Soil Stabilization with Cement 1959 (reworked)
มุมมอง 4977 ปีที่แล้ว
Mixing cement to the soil adds its stability and load carrying capacity often without the need to replace the soil..

Wow, a policemen on foot.
And then we had wuhan .
Sue Lloyd ! In the Baron she was an excellent supporting actress - not Emma Peel - but very sassy and funny - and very big hair !
She was a classy actress!
26:53, Mannering encounters the warlock.
R.I.P. Peter Bowles. So many great comedy roles in the late 70s early 80s, not least of which was Only When I Laugh. Today if you say the name Wanamaker you automatically think of Zöe, but her father Sam did a lot for UK theatre, especially The Globe.
She swam all that way and kept her shoes on!
Colin Gordon No2 twice and Victor Maddern
Colour,
Brian Wilde plays a good villian
Love these accult suits they wear,as if they hold power, it's abit like saying the bible is true 😂😂
Have a pipe or joint and mung out to this series it works 👍
Brilliant performance by Brian Wilde as Sutton/Smiler who could also do comedy in the BBC’s Porridge to series.
Yep a good blury video, but not as bad a some.
Gun changes from revolver to automatic then back again at the end.
Yes,just spotted that
Don't bother with this one. The video quality is 240-line interlaced. Not suitable for human eyes in 2024.
Just remembered it
See: this is an episode of a series called “The Baron”. The episode is called “the Persuaders”. It is NOT an episode of the Moore/Curtis series “The Persuaders. All clear now?
Good very good
Such a great show. I watched it as a child and have thoroughly enjoyed watching the episodes again. Thank you for sharing.
Hey! Wasn’t one of the bad guys in From Russia With Love?
Shades of VERTIGO in the opening scene.
Buena serie lástima que no se den como estas
It'll take you 5 minutes to figure out whodunit.......
Yes the Baron. He fitted up the gorgeous red head, the bastard.
Can anyone explain how some heathen country’s border guards, miles away from anywhere, can make 4 new tyres appear out of nowhere in the early hours of the morning?
Sylvia Sims was an exceptional actress who stole every show she starred in. Sadly missed.
My former employer's wife was a very close friend of Sylvia Sims she was a lovely lady. Ice cold in Alex what a film
Fascinating, isn’t it, how people from a wealthy/privileged background always seem to rile against it?
If you think about it pragmatically, The Baron’s not much cop as an amateur sleuth, is he? He’s consistently getting knocked over the head/tied up/imprisoned/captured. And Cordelia’s a total waste of time too.
Funny how the nurse locked Mannering and the sick woman in the room - when the keys were clearly shown to be on the INSIDE!!!!!
Lol, Kay Walsh was going over the top. The usual tin pot sets and lack of decent production values.
A great time piece...
Wow, Kay Walsh, lovely actress!
I don't remember this series, it got lost between The Saint and The Avengers among Brit imports. Ok but not in their league.
The late Sylvia Syms (1934-2023) RIP.
The production of The Baron series must have been on limited resources, because they had a double in place of Steve Forrest (22:29, 11:07) and other scenes in this series!
29:26, the scene where Mannering gets run off the road.
What about it?
@@EdelweisSusie FYI you smart aleck, that's for my benefit, not yours!
32:14 and just when you were doing so well Mannering. Pleasant dreams tough guy...
32:21 Mannering walking right into (yet another) trap. Occupational hazard for our hero...
Beautiful Sylvia Sims, sheer elegance, just like Alexandra Bastedo.
23:40, Mannering at Sir Roberts House.
40:18, Mannering hops over the electric ground.
24:01 the gas station attendant finds the pen with the deadly bacteria.
31:32, Mannering shows off his card skills!
39:52, "no, no, no, no!!!"
Always amazes me ,the shop has valuable antiques in and it has a basic lock on the door
Also how nobody locks their car...
12:32, Mannering & Cordelia go to view Peter's corpse.
24:19, Mannering tries to get knocked off by the goon.
9:19, Loisa at Langleys house.
One of the finest pieces of TV theme music of all time. Exquisite. Amazing to think that Steve Forrest's elder brother was famous film star, Dana Andrews.
Great info. I'd never seen this show and didn't know that they were brothers but looking at them the resemblance is clear. Excellent theme tune, yes. It uses a clever syncopated sequence that crosses two bars I think. Will see if the music's available. Nice one. Thanks
The theme is what I remember most.
really bad copy
