yes in the uk a bachelors is typically 3 years unless you choose a placement year/year abroad/integrated masters

@@rachelesoa heyyy, I definitely think the workload is very manageable and you can easily fit a part time job (which is what I did). I also feel safe and Manchester is an amazing city with lots to do. As for friends there are so many opportunities to meet people with similar interests through societies and from your course so I wouldn’t worry about that at all!!

@@masumbillal5034 hmmm this really depends on the industry and sector you want to go into. Investment banking is known to be well paid however I don’t believe a masters degree is required. I would say study what you enjoy so you can eventually excel in it

Hey, I'm a second year. They treat the psychology course as if you don't know anything about psychology so don't worry. It does help if you've done a psychology a level but it's completely okay if you haven't. Have a good day :)

@@newmeow_51 it really depends. You'll probably be shown but most psychology students want to go into something heavily psychology related (e.g. therapy or clinical psychology). However this doesn't usually happen since you get a lot of different opportunities to see what you'd like. This doesn't mean if you have your heart set on being a clinical psychologist you can't, just there's a lot of other opportunities you can use a psychology degree for. For instance, marketing, teaching, Human resources, etc, etc. Theres a lot you can do with your degree. I wouldn't worry too much about it in your first year since that's the time to get a feel of psychology as a whole. It's more a topic to consider in year two especially when placements and volunteering become more of a priority. If you do definitely wanna know more though I'd fully recommend talking to the people at the atrium who are career advisors :)

Hello thank you for supporting my channel! I definitely recommend staying in student halls in your first year so that you can fully experience student life and join all the activities they host. And then in your 2nd and 3rd year rent your own place. This is what most students usually do anyway :)

@@chloeparkes8716 heyy, the rooms they would show you would probably be actual rooms located in hulme hall. This could potentially be one of the Oaklands block since it is one of the biggest blocks or houldsworth.

@@niranx_yt7084 hii I’m studying international business, finance and economics. The 147 is free to take into uni however it rarely comes. And a lot of people do business management with a language so I’m sure you’ll be fine! Might be a bit tricky to juggle your time to start with but you will get the hang of it eventually. Don’t worry too much :)
