My father (1915-2000) was born in Uddingston, the son of a miner and one of nine children all of whom survived into adulthood. He never lived to see TH-cam but he would have been very moved by this archival film. To think that not a trace of Bothwellhaugh survives !

My mum Betty Baillie lived here,she says it was a great place ♥️

Thats how I remember the Toll. My maternal grandparents lived in Chacefield Street then in the block of maisonettes in Bowling Green Place. My mum and uncle grew up here.
