Eyewitness (1981)
Also Known As: Janitor, The
Daryll Deever is a janitor in an office building in New York, and a big fan of TV news reporter, Tony Sokolow. When a rich man is murdered in Daryll's building, Tony comes to cover the story and Daryll introduces himself to her. Thinking he may know something about the crime, Tony pursues him, and in order to keep seeing her, he pretends that he does. As the two of them play this game, the killers are watching, assuming that Daryll and Tony both know more about the crime than they do.

The reason why the picture quality is terrible and the sound is terrible is because this upload is terrible.it’s not even a version of the original movie in any form. And most of the comments are complete garbage. The original theatrical release is 1:41.37 hours long!! Hello everyone!! Condensed to 1:17.03. And comments read bla bla bla ? Weaver was gorgeous during her younger years. She still attractive today.
I just listened to Sigourney Weaver talk about Bill Hurt on a podcast, and I remembered this long-ago movie. It doesn't seem to be available to stream anywhere and this YT print is awful! I protest.

Is anyone else having problems watching this movie? It seems like it is too large for my TV screen which is 42 inch diagonal. I’ve watched hundreds of movies on YT and never experienced this before.
The ZOOM is way too magnified.
I love the scene with Pam Reed when they tell each other they don't love each other, great writing and acting, RIP William Hurt.

Excellent though not very well know thriller . Good plot. Great cast ! Would have been better with Dennis Franz as cop ? But ,apart from that.......RIP William Hurt
