Someone should remake this intro using Conker and Banjo in place of Dixie and Tiny. I'm just saying.

I love how people just instantly dismiss this game because there is no Conker and Banjo. If they just tried instead of complaining they'd be fine. Heck, I was sad Waluigi was gone in MK7, but it didn't stop me buying it, or stop me playing it.

On DS the new intro was a joke compared to the original but not only that it had butchered graphics, cut animations, cut voices, butchered movies, botched controls - botched everything. the new content was that poorly implemented on the DS aswell - complete joke - project should've been cancelled. A proper update from the original n64 version on 3DS would be nice though!

I don't get why keep Tiptup, he had to do with Rare and Banjo didn't he? Plus Why would they keep them out this is where Banjo and Conker all started.

No matter what the N64 version always is, always was and always better than this one. I wonder why they didn't show us how it all began in the N64 game. But it's still better than this.

The original DKR intro was far better. It did a cool thing where the camera panned around for cool effects (such as Timber driving the hovercraft towards the screen and Tiptup veering off to the side) while it cycled through the characters. DKRDS' intro is also missing the humor. Good thing I skipped this one in favor of staying with the original version.

They took them out because Banjo and Conker are Rare's characters, not Nintendo's. Thus, Nintendo didn't have the rights to use them.

I hate it that they take banjo and conker out why would they do that?its just not fair to take them out....they are the best rare charater of all time.

It wasn't fair to take Banjo and Conker out of it. It is fun playing the game as Banjo or Conker.

Rare was bought by Microsoft in 2002. They can't use Banjo and Conker because they aren't Nintendo approved anymore, so they were replaced with Tiny Kong and Dixie Kong.

Banjo and Conkey belong to Rare and Rare was sold to Microsoft. Nintendo no longer has the right to use Banjo and Conker, that's why.

Yep. You are so right. I always liked the original game better. I never played a Nintendo DS game before. And I never will.

This is harder than the original. I think Conker was in the original game , before Conker's Bad Fur Day. I liked Banjo and Conker. Why they let Dixie and her sister Tiny replace them? They should of add those two without replacing anyone. And by the way Diddy is my favorite character.
