Hi, we stayed at CHERN hotel +66 2 621 1133 g.co/kgs/MD6BxjY, as it is in the central area but quieter than other places where more local people live. The hotel has nice swimming pool, staff are super polite and friendly, near the police station (more safe), close to 24hr local convenience 7/11 store and there are lots of tourist attractions within walking distance or you can get tuk tuk at affordable prices. I would recommend visiting the grand palace, wat pho temple which are the best and most popular and better than other palaces and temples, china town which has very nice street food (we loved the grilled spicy squid if you like spicy food), visit the platinum mall if you want to explore local clothing, souvenirs and food at very affordable prices. Very close to platinum mall is the big central world shopping centre if you want international brands. We visited the tichuca rooftop bar for drinks and clubbing if that is your thing.

For local food maps.app.goo.gl/JuhvAXxLNKWDtQLHA?g_st=ic, was very good, thipsamai is the best and one of the oldest restaurant in the area but beware you have to wait in queue during lunch hours and evenings, alternatively they also do takeaway if you don’t want to queue for sitting. But generally the local food stalls are very cheap and taste good as well 👍

Also, if you’re going to use local taxis or tuk tuk don’t forget to bargain as they will always ask for higher prices with tourists.

You are correct sir in that it is popularly known as Bulgarian split squat. However, all split squat are essentially the same movement whether done on the floor or with your one foot elevated. We could even rephrase it as rear foot elevated split squat but even than the movement is the same as in flexion and extension occurs at the knees and hips but we can slightly change the emphasis depending on where you position your foot. Hope we are on the same page 😅
